Welcome and Announcements
*Choral Call to Worship, 2273 Jesus, We Are Here Jesus, we are here; Jesus, we are here; Jesus, we are here; we are here for you.
*The Opening Call Let us remember Jesus: Who though he was rich, for our sake became poor and dwelt among us, Who was mighty in deed, healing the sick and the disordered, using for others the powers that he would not invoke for himself, Who was Master and Lord to his disciples yet was among them as companion and as one who served. Who observed the traditions, but defied convention that did not serve the purposes of God, Who despised the sin of pride and selfishness, of cruelty and impurity, Whose desire was to do the will of God who sent him. This we remember, thanks be to God. May this mind be in us, that was in Christ Jesus.
*Hymn, 176 (twice) Majesty, Worship His Majesty (If you have a prayer request, please fill out the prayer card, and
the ushers will pick them up during the singing of the hymn.)
*Affirmation of Faith, 881 Apostles Creed
*Gloria Patri, 70
Concerns of the Church
Pastoral Prayer with Lord’s Prayer
Offertory “Lord, make us into instruments of your peace; where there is hatred, let us sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. For it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.”
*Doxology, 95
The Children’s Sermon
*Hymn, 327 Crown Him with Many Crowns
Prayer of Illumination A part of the prayer ascribed to St. Francis says, “O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved, as to love”. Let us hear the Word of God, seeking to understand and to be led to love as the Christ loves.
Choral Anthem (2087) We Will Glorify the King of Kings
The Gospel Reading, 78 Luke 19:36–44

Chancel rail to share your prayers.)
*Benediction
*Choral Response, 898 Amen
*Chiming of the Holy Trinity
*Postlude (A Time of Greeting and Fellowship) *Indicates that the Congregation stands. If standing is uncomfortable,

Prelude
Gathering Time (Welcome / Announcements / Greeting)
Opening Prayer
*Song 1 Majesty, Worship His Majesty Majesty, worship his majesty; unto Jesus be all glory, honor, and praise. Majesty, kingdom authority, flow from his throne unto his own, his anthem raise. So exalt, lift up on high the name of Jesus. Magnify, come glorify Christ Jesus, the King. Majesty, worship his majesty, Jesus who died, now glorified, King of all kings.
Majesty, worship his majesty; unto Jesus be all glory, honor, and praise. Majesty, kingdom authority, flow from his throne unto his own, his anthem raise. So exalt, lift up on high the name of Jesus. Magnify, come glorify Christ Jesus, the King. Majesty, worship his majesty, Jesus who died, now glorified, King of all kings.
*Song 2 Crown Him with Many Crowns 1. Crown him with many crowns, the Lamb upon his throne. Hark! how the heavenly anthem drowns all music but its own. Awake, my soul, and sing of him who died for thee, and hail him as thy matchless King through all eternity.
3. Crown him the Lord of peace, whose power a scepter sways from pole to pole, that wars may cease, and all be prayer and praise. His reign shall know no end, and round his pierced feet fair flowers of paradise extend their fragrance ever sweet.
4. Crown him the Lord of love; behold his hands and side, those wounds, yet visible above, in beauty glorified. All hail, Redeemer, hail! For thou hast died for me; thy praise and glory shall not fail throughout eternity.
The Scripture Reading Luke 19:36–44
Sermon “Displayed Power verses Real Power”
Offering
*Song 3 Stand By Me 1. When the storms of life are raging, stand by me (stand by me); when the storms of life are raging, stand by me (stand by me). When the world is tossing me like a ship upon the sea, thou who rulest wind and water, stand by me (stand by me).
2. In the midst of tribulation, stand by me (stand by me); in the midst of tribulation, stand by me (stand by me). When the host of hell assail, and my strength begins to fail, thou who never lost a battle, stand by me (stand by me).
3. In the midst of faults and failures, stand by me (stand by me); in the midst of faults and failures, stand by me (stand by me). When I do the best I can, and my friends misunderstand, thou who knowest all about me, stand by me (stand by me).

cleaned up, videoed and served in any manner …we say “thank
you for your commitment of time.” It takes many hours of
