Introduction of the topic.

The teacher introduce the topic of clothing by asking students about his appearance. The teacher list down the clothing the students identified.

Students, now we are going to learn topic 11, Looking Good. Now, do I look good?

Do you know what this is? o Shirt

o Necktie

o Trousers

o Socks

o Shoes

Using our own appearance as an example is a great way to further hook students’ attention and easy to be conducted.

Materials:Whiteboard

Presentation(10 Min)

Friends’ appearances

The teacher asks a few students to come to front and ask others to name the clothing they are wearing.

Reli, please come to front. Now, class, what is this? *pointing to different clothing on Reli. (repeat with a few more students)

Students will be able to relate the topic through identify their friends’ appearance.

Materials:Whiteboard

Practice (25 Min)

Label It! The teacher paste a random picture of random cloths and instructs the students to name the specific clothing shown on the pictures and spell it.

Class, here are some pictures of common clothes, I want you to name what is this clothing that I point here.

Uses of pictures serves as stimulus for their knowledge on the specific clothing.

Production (15 Min)

Worksheet. The teacher distributes worksheets with matching activity.

Class, I want you to label the pictures correctly according to sequences.
