What is included in the cost
• Flights between the UK & Japan and transfers
• Jamboree at Kirara-hama, Yamaguchi City, Yamaguchi Perfecture, Japan 28th July – 8th August 2015
• Mimasu Tokyo – short stay in Toyko
• HoHo – home hospitality
• Kit
Fundraising
The challengeFundraising is a big part of the preparation for the Jamboree, so that
the unit can develop and grow as a unit
The Unit will need to fundraise to cover their cost on the trip and also the Unit will require some funds raised to fund the various meeting
dates, camps and for the Jamboree
This can be done in many ways, individually, groups, districts
Fundraising can be done in a variety of ways
Fundraising ideas
• Bag Packing - Tesco, Morrison's, Sainsbury's, Asda, M&S, Co-Op
• Social events - Quiz nights, Murder Mystery Night, Casino Night, Race Night, Disco, Music night
• External Funders - Charitable Trusts, Local Councillors, Local Companies, Lions, Rotary Club
• Sponsored events - ½ Marathons & Fun Runs, Walks
• Local Fetes & Community events - Cake stall, Plant stall, Coffee mornings, Market stalls, Car Boots, Jumble sales, Side Show games
• Raffles - Raffles, Tombola's, Auction, Outdoor Companies for prizes
