WURLITZER AFTERNOON TEA DANCESJoin us every Wednesday and Thursday afternoon

from 1-4pm for our popular tea dances. Both days are a mixture of ballroom and sequence and our resident organist Michael Carr will be playing a selection of your favourite melodies for you to enjoy. Get up and dance, or just enjoy the atmosphere, it makes for a

memorable afternoon.

CHRISTMAS TEA DANCES

dances to three dates this Christmas.

SCARBOROUGH ELECTRONIC ORGAN

SOCIETY CONCERTS Scarborough Electronic Organ Society concerts will be held every 3rd Sunday of the month and will start at 2.30pm. please see the website or Facebook page

for information about organists playing.

WELCOME TO THE SCARBOROUGH FAIR COLLECTION

Collecting and restoring vintage pieces started as a hobby for Scarborough Fair Collection owner

Graham Atkinson. It has now grown and developed into one of the finest collections of Steam Engines, Mechanical Organs, Vintage Fairground Rides and

Vintage Cars in the country!

The Scarborough Fair Collection is one of the largest indoor attractions in the local area and takes

visitors on a journey down memory lane!

With so much to see you can spend hours looking around the museum. We recommend giving

yourself one to two hours to see everything and you’re welcome to stay as long as you like!

FAIRGROUND RIDES FROM DAYS GONE BY

We have an array of spectacular fairground rides on display including The Caterpillar Ride, The Austin Car Ride, the Old Tyme Cake Walk, ‘20th Century

Thriller’ Noah’s Ark, Dodgems and more!

Many of the rides on display are over 50 years old and have been restored to their original style while at The Scarborough Fair Collection. Each exhibit

has a display which details the intriguing history of each ride.

THE IRON MAIDENSTAR ATTRACTION!

Star of the 1962 British comedy film The Iron Maiden, The Scarborough Fair Collection is the home of the actual Showman’s Engine featured

in the film. Built in 1920 as a road locomotive and originally named The Kitchener, she was renamed

for the film and has been preserved since 1952.

WURLITZER, FAIR & DANCE ORGANSOur grand ballroom is home to two Mighty

Wurlitzers. Played by our organists for tea dances, you can get up and dance or just enjoy the sounds of

the theatre organ.

We also have a collection of mechanical organs which include the Decap, Gavioli, Mortier Ruth, the Oktoberfest and the Marenghi. Plus the Bruder Fair Organ, Wellershaus Fair Orgran and the Hooguys

Dance Organ! None of which can be missed!

THE CAROUSELA fairground classic, the Tidman Gallopers, built in 1893 is a ride which can’t be missed! It’s one of the most popular attractions at The Scarborough Fair

Collection.

An unbelievable collection of vintage products. You could quite easily spend four hours in this museum, the varied collection

is really worth a visit.

What a fantastic collection this is! We were lucky enough to visit on a day when they were having a tea dance as well and it was so nice watching all

the dancers glide around the dance floor.
