Michele Allen Senior Director of Energy Walmart

Michele has over 17 years of experience primarily focused on Energy, Information Technology, and Consulting. Michele has spent the last eight years leading the Walmart Retail Energy Provider, Texas Retail Energy, through a massive expansion covering the U.K., New York, PJM, New England, MISO, and California. Texas Retail Energy purchases the electricity supply for Walmart,

Sam’s, ASDA, and the Distribution Centers.

Previous to Walmart, Michele led teams at Greenbrier and Russel, a Dallas-based software consulting company, The Williams Companies in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and the former Electronic Data Systems in Plano, Texas.

Michele is actively involved in numerous sustainable initiatives at Walmart, including focused efforts on continuing to expand Walmart’s renewable energy portfolio.

Marissa Ceppi Director Client Solutions FirstFuel

Marisa is the Director of Client Solutions for FirstFuel Software focusing on the western US.

Prior to joining FirstFuel, Marisa was the Regional Director for Franklin Energy West Region where she worked directly with utilities across the region

implementing commercial and residential energy efficiency programs. Through her work at Franklin Energy, Marisa lead implementation teams to market programs, improve customer engagement and

Marisa holds an MBA from Michigan State University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.

Edmund M. DeVeaux Director of Sales Municipal and Commercial Business Veolia North America

Receiving a BA in Urban Studies from Rutgers University, and an officer’s commission from Rutgers Army ROTC, Edmund brings a wealth of national public, private and not-for-profit sector experience to Veolia.

Edmund’s corporate career includes roles as both a business development and government affairs professional in the nation’s largest multinational water-related and environmental services companies. Utilizing his leadership skills, Edmund has been part of the external growth, internal development, and public policy and reputation management strategies for these companies. In particular, Edmund was involved with the successful development of some of the country’s largest public-private partnerships for water and wastewater services. Several appearances as a panelist or company spokesperson established him as an industry expert on matters of infrastructure finance and development.

In other aspects of Edmund’s professional life he attained the rank of captain in the United States Army, where he received several commendations and graduated from the US Army Airborne School. He also served on numerous not-for-profit boards, including the Civic League of Greater New Brunswick (formerly the Urban League); the Foundation for Free Enterprise; the National Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials Foundation; the National Conference of Black Mayors Business Council (chair); and the Sustainable Water Infrastructure Coalition (chair).

Cris Eugster Group EVP, Chief Generation & Strategy Officer CPS Energy

Cris Eugster leads the Generation and Strategy Group for CPS Energy, one of the nation’s largest municipally owned utilities with over 730,000 electric customers and 325,000 gas customers. CPS Energy is vertically integrated and includes generation, transmission and distribution, and retail services with annual revenues of over $2 billion and total assets of over $10 billion.

Cris is responsible for the overall operations, dispatch, and evolution of CPS Energy’s generation capabilities that include approximately 6,500 MW of traditional power plants (natural gas, nuclear, and coal) and 1,100 MW of renewables (wind, solar, and landfill gas). The Generation and Strategy Group includes energy supply and market operations to serve retail load and to support ERCOT wholesale transactions.

Cris also leads overall corporate strategy, integrated resource planning, new products and services, research & development, and environmental oversight, driving the transformation of CPS Energy into a strong, innovative 21st century power provider. The strategy has led to significant investments in low carbon capabilities such as combined cycle natural gas, wind, and solar, in addition to large-scale demand response programs and innovative smart grid solutions. CPS Energy is nationally recognized for its efforts in the New Energy Economy and has won numerous awards.

Cris sits on a number of Boards including the Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA) and Mission Verde Alliance. Past Boards have included Build SA Green, Solar San Antonio, Texas Renewable Energy Industry Association (TREIA), DOE State Energy Advisory Board, and the Houston Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Prior to coming to San Antonio, Cris was the first Chief Officer for Sustainable Growth for the City of Houston as part of Mayor Bill White’s team. Cris was also a Partner with McKinsey & Company, an international management-consulting firm. He received his PhD and MS in Electrical Engineering from MIT focused on quantum transport research in nanostructures. He received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University with Magna Cum Laude honors.

Scott Hart Vice President of Sales Opower

Scott Hart is Vice President of Opower's Southern Region, responsible for working with Utility partners and meeting their customer engagement goals. Scott has 15 years of experience in the IT industry, working for both Oracle and IBM, implementing technology solutions for Enterprise customers. He lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife and three children.

Josh Henretig Senior Director, Energy, Environment and Cities Microsoft

Josh Henretig is the Sr. Director of Energy, Environment and Cities for Microsoft and is responsible for helping define, implement and communicate the global environmental strategy for the company. Josh and his team is also responsible for Microsoft CityNext, a company initiative that is helping cities around the world better leverage technology to realize a more sustainable place for people

to live and work.

As part of this effort, Josh is focused on innovative partnerships & solutions that bring together Microsoft’s corporate sustainability practices with its CityNext efforts to create opportunities to better leverage work in energy, carbon, water and IT-enablement.

Josh has found success translating corporate insights and experiences with sustainability into scalable business practices that result in reducing the company’s environmental footprint, meeting the company’s commitment to carbon neutrality through an innovative carbon fee model, and showcasing the role technology plays in enabling people and organizations around the world reduce their impact on the environment. Josh has spent a significant amount of time working with Microsoft business groups and international subsidiaries to embed environmental strategies and policies into their core business.

Josh has been with Microsoft for 12 years and was recently named a Fellow at the Aspen Institute. Josh has previously held positions in Sales, Business Strategy and Management, and Environmental Sustainability. Prior to Microsoft, Josh worked at Onyx Software where he held a variety of sales, marketing and management positions.

Jim Huempfner VP Enterprise Solutions and Emerging Technologies AT&T

Jim presently serves as Vice President of Global Enterprise Solutions & Emerging Technologies for AT&T. Jim’s professional experience as strategic management executive has focused on enterprise development and deployment of process improvement, product innovation, technology integration, and transformational

ideation for large Fortune 500 Companies. Jim has a highly successful track record at top organizations, including PepsiCo, PricewaterhouseCoopers, KPMG Peat Marwick, and United Parcel Service.

Jim has an extensive background in developing dynamic enterprise mobility solutions, instituting organizational transformational business process improvements, and leading marketplace execution of world-class sales force / field service force automation capabilities.

Prior to AT&T, Jim led PepsiCo’s (Frito-Lay Division) Transformation & Strategy Team as the National Director of Customer Enterprise Solutions. Jim has held several positions with Frito-Lay, including National Director of Emerging Technology & Business Processes, Director of Go-To-Market (GTM), Director of Sales System Strategy, Senior Group Manager for Productivity for Growth, Region Finance Performance Manager, and Divisional Finance Analyst. Additionally, Jim was a Principle Consultant for 4 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers and KMPG focusing on Business Process Improvement. Jim also worked for United Parcel Service in a rangeof diverse roles including Industrial Engineering, Operational Management, Technology Implementation, & Frontline Supervision.

Jim has an MBA in Marketing from Loyola College in Maryland and Bachelors of Science in Business Management from George Mason University. Jim and his wife, and two sons, reside in Houston, Texas.

Steve Ingram VP Global Delivery Silver Spring Networks

Steve Ingram joined Silver Spring Networks in April 2009 with a mandate to establish a discipline around building and sustaining long-term relationships with strategic clients. Steve began his business career in 1996 when he joined the Energy Practice of Perot Systems. A year later, he was hand-picked by H. Ross Perot to establish a strategic recruiting and training program to infuse the

company with its next generation of leaders. Building on the success of this recruiting channel, Steve was promoted to lead the global recruiting organization. Focusing on process, technology and metrics, Steve oversaw the company’s growth from 4,500 to more than 7,000 associates. Returning to a line leadership role, Steve’s next assignment was the Chief Operating Officer for the firm’s Financial Services Division. In 2006 Steve joined a boutique search firm, which was subsequently acquired by Heidrick & Struggles, the international executive search firm. As a Partner with Heidrick & Struggles, Steve recruited senior Information Technology leaders across multiple industries and senior operational and sales leaders within the outsourcing and services industries.

Prior to joining Perot Systems, Steve served with distinction in the U.S. Navy’s Submarine Force, departing with the rank of Captain. He served on four submarines, including a tour commanding the USS James Madison.

Since joining Silver Spring, Steve has focused on establishing the customer at the center of operations and aligning the smart grid services team to accommodate Silver Spring’s rapid growth. Today, Steve is responsible for the company’s global delivery and its overall customer satisfaction.

Steve holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and a master's degree in nuclear engineering from Georgia Tech. He has also taken part in the Executive Education programs at both Harvard Law School and MIT Sloan School of Management.

Jonathan Kleinman Vice President, Policy, Design and Evaluation CLEAResult

Jonathan analyzes state and federal policies, regulations and initiatives to identify the specific ways that policy changes impact the businesses of our clients, and then helps to shape outcomes. He also guides our programs and our clients through the evaluation of energy savings. For the last 15 years, he’s designed and delivered cost-effective energy programs based on the interests

and requirements of various stakeholders, including utilities and their customers, trade and governmental organizations, service providers, architects and engineers.

Jonathan developed an interest in energy efficiency during a severe drought in the Midwest while he was attending college. Ever since, Jonathan has committed himself to developing programs and strategies that respect diverse perspectives and help individuals and organizations understand the importance of energy efficiency.

Jonathan is a Certified Energy Manager and LEED™-Accredited Professional. He holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering and a B.A. in environmental policy from Cornell University, and M.S. degrees in technology and policy, and civil and environmental engineering, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Wade P. Malcolm, P.E. Chief Executive Officer, North America OMNETRIC Group

Wade is the North American CEO of OMNETRIC Group, a new Siemens and Accenture company providing integrated and innovative solutions for improved utility IT/OT convergence. Wade has a broad background with substantial experience in utility information systems, distribution, customer interface, and metering and communications technologies. Wade has over 30 years of utilities

experience involving consulting, technology development and delivery, and operations. Previously he served as the Managing Director of Grid Operations for Accenture. He has also served as an officer of the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), Powel Group, Inc. (now Powel ASA), and UTILITY.COM, the first internet utility. He has provided energy-related consulting to both utility customers and suppliers. Wade holds a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from

Scott McGaraghan Director, Business Development Nest Labs

Scott heads up Energy Partner Products for Nest Labs, maker of the Nest Learning Thermostat. The Nest Learning Thermostat learns about you and your home to automatically turn itself down when you're away, guide you to energy-efficient temperatures when you’re home, and free you from programming hassles by creating a customized temperature schedule.

Previously, Scott oversaw EnerNOC’s business development activities and continued growth in the Western United States and then outside of the United States, working with utilities, regulators, and customers in demand response program design, and enrolling customers in available programs. In this capacity, Scott opened EnerNOC’s UK office to establish the company’s first presence outside of North America. Earlier in his career, Scott spent a few years as a management consultant for Bain and Company, providing strategic and operational support for electric utilities and other international clients.

Scott holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He has been published and spoken extensively on issues relating to breakthrough approaches to energy management, and currently resides in Menlo Park, CA.

Douglas R. Melnick Chief Sustainability Officer City of San Antonio

Douglas Melnick, AICP, CNU-A, was named San Antonio’s first Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) in March 2014. As the City’s CSO, Doug is responsible for the overall leadership of the Office of Sustainability, as well as the City’s sustainability efforts & environmental policy. Doug is a dedicated public servant, who believes that leadership is about vision, cooperation and

creating a work environment that challenges and empowers all staff to create and problem solve to plan for the future.

Mr. Melnick came to us from the City of Albany, New York where he served as the Director of Planning and concurrently as the Director of the Mayor's Office of Energy & Sustainability. He worked to make

the City of Albany, the Capital of New York State, a better community through the integration of all aspects of municipal operations with the concept of sustainability. He succeeded by combining vision, innovation, communication and a firm understanding of local government with active engagement of all sectors of the community. He has previously served as the Executive Director of the Albany County Land Conservancy and as an Urban Planner with the Capital District Community Gardens.

David Mohler Vice President of Emerging Technology and Chief Technology Officer Duke Energy

David Mohler is vice president of emerging technology for Duke Energy. He is responsible for the development and application of technologies in support of Duke Energy’s strategic objectives.

Mohler has operational experience in both nuclear and fossil power generation, as well as experience in corporate marketing, human resources and business development. He also led the establishment of the technology office at Duke Energy in 2006.

Mohler is a member of the advisory boards of Verizon Wireless and the Carnegie Mellon Electric Utility Industry Center. He is a member of the Electric Power Research Institute’s Research Advisory Committee. Mohler also serves on the board of directors of the Asia Clean Energy Innovation Initiative.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University, a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the State of New York at Albany, a Master of Arts degree from Xavier University of Cincinnati, and a Master of Science degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He also completed the Columbia University Marketing Management Program and Penn State University Executive Development Program.

Jeffrey A. Norman Vice President of Emerging Technologies Leidos Engineering Energy Solutions Operations

Jeffrey Norman ([email protected]) is Vice President of Emerging Technologies with Leidos and has more than 24 years of telecom and technology development experience. Mr. Norman has been actively involved in the smart grid arena since 2000; working with more than thirty utilities as they have

evaluated the role emerging technologies could play in their grid modernization efforts.

Prior to joining SAIC (now Leidos) in 2011, Mr. Norman served as engagement lead with Capgemini’s

Smart Energy Services practice, which provided field and technical resources to identify, test and evaluate smart grid technologies. Mr. Norman has also served as Vice President of Business Development for Current Communications Group, a broadband-overpower lines technology developer and service provider. Mr. Norman was a founding employee with responsibility for the North American business development for Main.net - PLC, a provider of power line communications. Mr. Norman has served two terms as Technology Co-Chair for the United Power Line Council (UPLC).

Mr. Norman has held senior sales management positions with regional and national telecommunications organizations including: Business Telecom, Teleglobe and World Access with responsibility for both direct and alternate channel sales divisions.

Michael Payne Government Sales Manager Philips Lighting

Michael has been promoting energy efficiency products and solutions for over twenty years. He has held numerous sales and marketing positions with Siemens and most recently, Philips Lighting.

Michael’s current position with Philips is Government Sales Manager with the objective to work with local and state governments on energy efficiency, economic development, beautification and other public works initiatives. The current trend in lighting technology is conversion of traditional lighting products to solid-state LED and lighting management systems adding intelligence and connectivity to a city’s lighting grid. Philips in partnership with Ericsson recently launched a public-private-partnership program promoted as Connected City, providing small-cell mobile broadband delivery to densely populated urban area via smart lighting poles. Los Angeles, CA has been the first city to pilot this program with implementation scheduled over the next year.

Michael resides with his family in Keller, TX located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Outside of work, he is involved in scouting with his two daughters and Toastmasters International. He is a graduate of Bucknell University.

Steven Prince Senior Advisor Younicos AG

Stephen Prince is a Senior Advisor to Younicos AG, a global provider of intelligent energy storage solutions, responsible for marketing, sales, alliances, and regulatory affairs. Prior to Younicos, Stephen held VP and C-level positions at Edison Enterprises, SAIC, Excelergy, Oracle and Optisense Network. He is a

Stephen holds an M.S. in Taxation from Golden Gate University and a B.A. in Business Administration and Accounting from California State University Fullerton.

Micah Remley Vice President of Product Strategy and Technology EnerNOC

As EnerNOC’s Vice President of Product Strategy and Technology, Micah Remley is responsible for guiding the development of EnerNOC’s award-winning energy intelligence software. An early employee of EnerNOC, Micah has been an integral part of EnerNOC’s success for almost a decade. In previous leadership roles in operations and implementation, Micah helped to scale

EnerNOC’s demand response and energy efficiency solutions to tens of thousands of customer sites representing almost 10 gigawatts of technology-enabled demand response capacity in markets around the world.

In his current role, Micah is again transforming how commercial and industrial facilities manage energy by driving innovation within EnerNOC’s energy intelligence SaaS solution. With almost 50 technology innovations in its patent pipeline, EnerNOC is developing its energy intelligence software as a next generation solution that helps commercial, industrial, and utility customers gain new insights, be more productive, and control costs in a rapidly changing energy landscape.

As an avid endurance sports participant, Micah has completed an Ironman triathlon, numerous marathons, and a thru-hike of the entire Appalachian Trail. Micah holds a BS in Ecology with highest honors from the University of Maine and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.

Jim Simonelli Chief Technology Officer Gridco Systems

Jim Simonelli is Chief Technology Officer of Gridco Systems, where he is responsible for the company’s technical vision and strategy. Most recently, Jim served as Senior Vice President and CTO of American Power Conversion (APC),

an Schneider Electric company and leading provider of global, end-to-end AC and DC-based back-up power products and services. In addition to setting the direction for technical innovation at APC, Jim’s responsibilities included design and development of leading hardware, software, and data center solutions. At APC, Jim also held senior management roles as Vice President, System and Platform Architecture and Vice President, Solutions Delivery Group with responsibility for technical direction

Pat Stanton Senior Vice President of Policy and Advocacy Conservation Services Group

A nationally recognized expert in regulatory policy analysis and advocacy, Pat Stanton directs CSG’s participation in emerging energy markets, green power products, and public policies related to renewable energy. She serves as a resource and liaison for company regions and executives, and oversees CSG’s Markets, Policy and Advocacy team activities.

Marty Uczen Director of Business Development and Strategy Verizon

Marty Uczen is a Director of Corporate Strategy with responsibility for leading the strategy and business development activities for Verizon’s Energy and Utilities Vertical. He is currently working with energy leaders to ensure Verizon's strategy aligns with the emerging needs of the Energy industry around communication modernization activities.

Before joining Verizon, Marty spent 14 years with Duke Energy Corporation. In his last role with Duke Energy, Marty served as Director of Corporate Strategy and Growth Initiatives responsible for the development of the enterprise strategy and advancing growth opportunities for the company. He also held positions in Finance, Investor Relations, Risk Management and Corporate Controllers during his tenure at Duke Energy.

Prior to Duke Energy, Marty worked in Public accounting specializing in auditing and corporate taxation.

Marty has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina. He holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting from Le Moyne College in Syracuse New York. Marty is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Prasanna Venkatesan President & Chief Executive Officer Landis+Gyr Americas

Prasanna Venkatesan currently serves as President & CEO of Landis+Gyr Americas. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of business within the region, including full P&L responsibilities for operations in both North and South America, customer satisfaction, development and execution of the regional growth strategy, as well as managing a broad portfolio of innovative products,

solutions, and services to empower utilities and end-customers to improve their energy efficiency, reduce their energy costs and contribute to a sustainable use of resources.

Additionally, Mr. Venkatesan serves as Executive Vice President of Landis+Gyr Holdings where he helps develop and execute the corporate strategy in conjunction with the worldwide company leadership team.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Venkatesan served as Senior Vice President & General Manager for Landis+Gyr North America, and was responsible for the introduction and execution of all smart grid solution deployments for North American utilities including projects such as AEP-Texas, Oncor, and Hydro Quebec. Previous to this assignment, he served as VP of research and development with Cellnet Technology, Inc, before its acquisition by Landis+Gyr in 2007.

Mr. Venkatesan also held senior level engineering and operations management positions during his 21 years at Schlumberger, where he was involved in the development, manufacturing and supply chain operations for technologies used in the oil and gas exploration industry. Jelynne LeBlanc-Burley is the Executive Vice President & Chief Delivery Officer of CPS Energy, the nation’s largest municipally owned energy company providing both natural gas and electric service to the San Antonio area.

Jelynne oversees and provides strategic direction for electric and gas delivery, customer service, and our interface with Joint Base San Antonio.

Burley joined CPS in 2008 as Senior Vice President & Chief Administrative Officer, and was subsequently named Acting General Manager (AGM) in 2009. During her tenure as AGM, Burley has helped ensure the utility company’s future viability, prosperity and long-term success in terms of financial strength, environmental stewardship and community support by helping to establish strategic partnerships and alliances. A few of her achievements include helping to set the organization’s new strategic direction, re-establishing a stable outlook from the bond rating agencies, strengthening public trust in the utility, and obtaining unanimous approval for a new rate structure in 2010. In 2010 she was promoted to Executive Vice President & Chief Administrative Officer, and Chief Delivery Officer in 2013.

Prior to joining CPS, Burley spent 24 years in various leadership positions with the City of San Antonio, which is the 7th largest city in the U.S.

Steve Lowe National Manager for Utility Solutions AT&T

Steve Lowe is the National Manager for Utility Solutions with AT&T where he supports a team focused on holistic Smart Grid solutions including AMI, MDM, Volt/Var Control and Pre-Pay electric. He has over twenty-five years of

experience in the telecommunications and utility industries.

Steve’s roles in the Utility industries included Transmission and Distribution design, planning, inventory management and metering and in the Telecommunications Industry Data Network Sales, Enterprise Client Business Manager and Premier Client Director. Steve’s background includes tenures at AT&T and American Electric Power.

Steve has worked with a wide range of technology organizations during his career and brings deep strategic vision and technology-empowered innovation to AT&T’s customers and partners.

Raiford Smith Vice President, Corporate Development and Planning CPS Energy

Raiford Smith leads the Corporate Development and Planning functions for CPS Energy, one of the nation’s largest municipally-owned utilities with over 730,000 electric customers and 325,000 gas customers. CPS Energy is vertically integrated and includes generation, transmission and distribution, and retail services with annual revenues of over $2 billion and total assets of over $10

billion.

Mr. Smith and his team are responsible for corporate strategy, integrated resource planning, load forecasting, new products and services, smart grid deployment, and research & development.

Mr. Smith has 23 years of experience in the energy industry, including various roles in legal, smart grid, customer management, energy efficiency, pricing and rates, product development, wholesale deal structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and technology.

A native of Savannah, GA., Mr. Smith earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the University of Georgia, a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia, and a Juris Doctor from the Charlotte School of Law.

Before joining AEE, she was a co-founding Principal of Millville Partners, Inc., a strategic marketing firm. Laura has over 20 years’ experience in design, marketing and branding, strategic

planning and facilitation, project management and client relations. She has focused her professional activities on advanced energy since 2007. Laura has served as a member of the Board of Trustees of St. Paul’s School in Concord, NH, and also as an appointed member of the Zoning Board of Appeals in Portland, ME.

Doyle Beneby President & Chief Executive Officer CPS Energy

Doyle Beneby is President and Chief Executive Officer of CPS Energy, the largest municipal electric and gas utility in the nation. A veteran of the energy industry with over 25 years of experience, Beneby has expertise in many facets of the electric & gas utility industry including strategic planning, generation & delivery operations and asset acquisition. Since joining CPS Energy, Beneby has

lead the strategic transition to a lower carbon intense fleet, utilizing clean coal, natural gas and nuclear combined with targeted renewables such as wind and solar. Under his leadership, CPS Energy has made recent improvements in operational and financial performance and has also established partnerships with several clean technology companies that will bring thousands of jobs to the Greater

Lisa Frantzis (Facilitator) Senior Vice President, Strategy Advanced Energy Economy (AEE)

Lisa Frantzis is a Senior Vice President for AEE where she leads the 21st Century Electricity System initiative to accelerate the transition to a high-performing electricity system. The two primary activities of the initiative are 1. CEO Forums and Public Utility Commisssion (PUC) Forums that convene utility executives, PUC commissioners, and advanced energy companies to develop a vision for reform

that is responsive to the needs of each state and drives towards concrete action, and 2. participation in key regulatory proceedings where AEE develops joint positions with our members, provides analysis for justification of our positions, and assists in utility implementation plans.

Frantzis has served as Managing Director in the Energy Practice at Navigant since 2002, responsible for the renewable and distributed energy business. Prior to Navigant, she consulted at Arthur D. Little for 23 years in energy efficiency and clean energy. Over her 35 years of consulting experience, she has led energy resource potential and program options for international government agencies; renewable portfolio standard compliance, integration strategies and procurement support for utility companies; business strategy and M&A support for clean energy manufacturers and private-sector firms; and due diligence for financial firms considering clean energy investments.

Frantzis is on the Board of Directors of the New England Clean Energy Council (NECEC), which is a partner organization of AEE. She was on the Board of Directors of the Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA) and the Board of Directors of the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE) for four years. She was also a former Vice President of the Solar Energy Business Association of New England.

Graham Richard Chief Executive Officer Advanced Energy Economy

Graham Richard served as mayor of Fort Wayne, Indiana, from 2000 to 2008, following a 20-year career in business, as principle of Graham Richard & Associates and partner in Ruffolo Richard LLC. As mayor, Graham put his knowledge of best business practices to work, turning Fort Wayne city government into a lean, customer-focused organization and saving taxpayers

more than $31 million while improving city services. An expert in the application of Lean Six Sigma management principles to eliminate waste in production and process, Graham launched a number of initiatives to save energy and create jobs, and received national awards for technology leadership for promoting high-speed broadband deployment and applications.

In 2007, he was named “Government Leader of the Year” by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. A Brookings Institution Non-Resident Senior Fellow, Graham received an Honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters from Indiana University and earned a B.A. from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. Graham was a founding board member of the Clean Economy Network, which merged with AEE.
