Transparent Lace
Lace is gorgeous and made a huge impact on the fashion world in 2011. Depending on what you pair it with it
can be pretty, sophisticated, flirty, sexy. Women depend on lace to bring out perhaps an alter ego they were once
scared to be.
Sophisticated Comfort
In 2011 the runways brought flattering wearable garments.
Comfortable breathable fabrics were used in clas-
sic designs, giving women a classic day to day look. These garments allowed women to push through their busy lives
while not having to worry about their clothes
Bold Colors
Color Blocking was ex-tremely popular in 2011.
Designers mixed matching colors or contrasting colors
in dresses, pants, jackets and more. Wearing these bright
colors brought women out of the shadows and made them
more noticeable.

Fabr ic StoryThe fabrics used for this line are mostly neutral tones abundant in nature. A major-ity of the fabrics used are lightweight and air permeable. The heavier fabrics such as leather, twill and suede are mainly used for coats, jackets and vests. The lighter fabrics are to offer comfort and versatility. Being so light makes these fabrics able to adjust to any region being light for hot weather and able to layer for colder weather. The gathering, draping and configuring these fabrics gives this line it’s simple classic charm.
Accessor ies For T rend
Handbags and shoes representing the animals that inhabit the earth balance this tren well. Acessories stay witth neutral tones but have
richer deeper pigments.
Big floppy hats keep this look minimal but chic. To protect you from the sun or hide tired eyes, hats can alter the esthetic to this
trend.
Bangle bracelets give this trend pops of color and a
sense of design innovation.10
D r i v e r s
Our economy has been struggling in many different ways over the years. Global warming has taken over summers, making it almost unbearable at times. Having light weight air permeable clothing helps women get through this heat increase while staying fashionable. Another eco-nomic crisis that has hit hard is loss in jobs. Being able to purchase such elemental clothing ex-pands variation in pairing items. Having few items that all go together well will go further than the one expensive garment that everyone notices when you have worn it. 11
M a n i f e s t a t i o n
As we’ve seen in the past years comfort and functionality are winning over high-end clothing. Every year designers evolve chic looks while keeping the luxury of comfort. With such a fast paced world being able to throw on a shirt that wicks and pants that stretch to your every move sounds much more pleasing than tight stiff clothes. Classic beauty does not need a ton of ele-ments involved to make someone or something interesting. In this case less is more.

Soul Baring
Taking care of your body should be a top priority. This trend allows women to be sexy and confident. In 2013 wom-en will realizze that getting in touch with themselves and their soul will help balance their hectic lives. This sensual trend shows off the beautiful curves and dantiness women hold.
13
Fabric StoryThe textiles used in this trend are light, sheer, and translucent. Using these fabrics to accentuate the woman’s body makes this trend intimate and sensual. These textiles hold high draping capabilities and a soft hand. The mixing of fabrics and manipulation of textiles creates interesting details to garments.

Drivers
In todays society women have a huge amount of pressure to stay fit and lean. With the economy relying on cheap fast food, this makes this hard to do. Many organizations bring women encouragment to making them feel beautiful. The seduction of this trend is a way for women to express their sexuality and feminism.
17
Manifestations
Garments through out the year are getting slinkier and bare more skin than ever. With fashion becoming more risky, women are challenging the perameters of this new trend. 2013 brings a whole new era of baring skin.

F a b r i c S t o r yThe fibers used in these textiles are mostly cottons, varying levels of stiffness and elasticity. The hand dyed fabrics imported from overseas flood the runway with vibrant colors. Each pattern represents a story from a different culture, connecting those who wear the garments to the natives who make them. Tribal prints are mixed and matched with other prints, plain fabrics or just worn by themselves.

D r i v e r s
Travel to most people is a luxury. Sometimes the closest they can get is through what they wear. Being able to wear vibrant colors and patterns can almost give a sense of being there or being part of the culture. 23
M a n i f e s t a t i o n s
We have seen tribal over the years but not as vibrant and intense as we are going to. In 2011 tribal first hit the runway but with a conservative feel to it. As personalities become bolder so do trends and garments. 2013 will bring neons and color blocking to an extreme to create a maximum tribal experience in your wardrobe.
