THE RETURN OF THE ARK- HUMBLE WORSHIP
I. INTRODUCTION
A. Last study – David King over all Israel!

II. 2SAMUEL 6:1-2
A. David to rescue Ark of God!
1. Refresh your memory as how the Ark was captured.
a) Philistines killed 4,000 at Aphek.
b) Decided to bring Ark from Shiloh.
(1) Power wasn’t the Ark of God!
(2) Israel lost 30,000 men AND the Ark!
c) Philistines took the Ark to Ashdod.
(1) Dagon had fallen on his face. (2) Next morning same
thing happened.
d) All the people broke out with hemorrhoids.
e) Moved it to Ekron!f) Decided to send it back to Israel.
(1) 50,070 of Beth- Shemesh died. (2) Ark remained in Kirjath Jearim 20
