[57] Abstract:

Apparatuses and methods control communication of content streams through a content distribution network. A data repository (142, J40) is accessed (300) to retrieve information which identifies a group of User equipment nodes (200-214) that are registered with one of a plurality of subscriber accounts and which further identifies weight values that are associated with the group of the user equipment nodes (200-214). Communication bit rates that are provided by a weighted fair queuing scheduler node (136) to individual ones of a group of the content streams within bandwidth allocated to a virtual pipe for carrying the group of the content streams through the content: distribution network to the group of the user equipment nodes (200-214), are regulated responsive to the weight values associated with the group of the user equipment nodes (200-214). Weighted fair queuing scheduling can thereby be provided at a virtual pipe level and, furthermore, at a user equipment node level.

[57] Abstract:

In some examples, a video encoder includes multiple sequence parameter set (SPS) IDs in an SEI message, such that multiple active SPSs can be indicated to a video decoder. In some examples, a video decoder activates a video parameter set (VPS) and/or one or more SPSs through referencing an SEI message, e.g., based on the inclusion of the VPS ID and one or more SPS IDs in the SEI message. The SEI message may be, as examples, an active parameter sets SEI message or a buffering period SEI message.

The video coding device may further determine a removal time of the DU based at least on the coded duration. The coding device may also code a sub-picture timing supplemental enhancement information (SEI) message associated with the first DU. The video coding device may further determine a removal time of the DU based at least in part on the sub-picture timing SEI message.

[57] Abstract:

In a method and a device for transporting flat workpieces (20, 21, 21'), in particular tubular bag bodies, the workpieces (20, 21, 21'), in an arrangement one behind the other, are transported individually or contiguously in a longitudinal transport direction (x) into a working area (3). A cutting device is provided in the working area (3). The workpieces (20, 21, 21') are conveyed away from the working area (3) in a transverse transport direction (y) oriented orthogonally to the longitudinal transport direction. In the working area (3), at least one workpiece holder (16, 26) extending in the transverse transport direction (Y) across the workpiece width is arranged, which is adjustable between a holding position and an open position in order to temporarily retain a workpiece (20, 21, 21') located in the working area (3). The at least one workpiece holder (16,26) comprises at least two holding portions (16a, 16b,26a) offset to one another with regard to the transverse transport direction (Y), which viewed in the transverse transport direction (Y) - can be brought successively forward from behind from the open position into the holding position.

[57] Abstract:

A smoking article (2, 32) comprises: a blind combustible heat source (4) with opposed front (6) and rear (8) faces wherein the blind combustible heat source has a transverse cross sectional area of at least about 60 percent of the transverse cross-sectional area of the smoking article; an aerosol-forming substrate (10) downstream of the rear face (8) of the blind combustible heat source (4), wherein the rear face (8) of the blind combustible heat source (4) and the aerosol-forming substrate (10) are exposed to one another; a mouthpiece (12) downstream of the aerosol-forming substrate (10); and one or more air inlets located downstream of the rear face (8) of the blind combustible heat source (4) and upstream of the mouthpiece (12). The one or more air inlets (16, 18) are located between the rear face (8) of the blind combustible heat source (4) and a downstream end of the aerosol-forming substrate (10) and comprise one or more first air inlets (16) around the periphery of the aerosol-forming substrate (10). In use, air drawn through the aerosol-forming substrate (10) enters the smoking article (2, 32) through the one or more air inlets (16, 18).

[57] Abstract:

Methods and apparatus for making scored mediums, particularly but not exclusively for use in the corrugated board arts, and articles of manufacture and compositions made there with and made there by. When at least one scored medium is used in a layered or laminated article, and particularly when selectively used as a liner member and/or fluted member in a corrugated board, whether as part of a corrugated board article of manufacture or a laminate with at least one other member, the article will possess mechanical qualities superior to those that would otherwise exist if a non-scored medium was/were used. To achieve these desired qualities, a major axis of the scores formed in the scored medium runs askew, and preferably perpendicular, to the direction of beam strength in any article or article intermediate to which the scored medium is to be associated.

[57] Abstract:

A method performed by a first wireless device for handling a device-to-device, D2D, communication with a second wireless device during handover of the first wireless device from a source network node to a target network node in a wireless telecommunications network is provided. The first wireless device interrupts the D2D communication. Then, the first wireless device determines a first uplink timing difference as the difference between the uplink timing to the source network node and the uplink timing to the target network node. Further, the first wireless device reconfigures the D2D communication based on the first uplink timing difference. Then, the first wireless device restarts the D2D communication as reconfigured. A first wireless device (121) is also provided. Further, a target network node (110, 111, 112), a source network node (110, 111) and methods therein for handling a D2D communication are provided.

A method and apparatus for intra predicting a video. The method includes: determining availability of a predetermined number of adjacent pixels used for intra prediction of a current block; if a first adjacent pixel is unavailable, searching for a second adjacent pixel that is available by searching the predetermined number of adjacent pixels in a predetermined direction based on the first adjacent pixel; and replacing a pixel value of the first adjacent pixel with a pixel value of a found second adjacent pixel. At least one third adjacent pixel in another location, which is not available and excludes the first adjacent pixel at a predetermined location, is sequentially replaced by using a directly adjacent pixel in a predetermined direction.
