    Run in Alaska the first weekend in March

    The course goes from Anchorage to Nome

    The course is 1150 miles long

    Takes 9-17 days

    12 -16 Sled Dogs

    Alaskan Huskies are the most commonly used dogs on teams

  • 14-17 year old mushers

    140 mile race

    Held one week before the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race
