MedSurplus Network formation Becoming an official organization Establish basic standards

– Members should have a clean warehouse that allows easy access to inventory and have trained staffing and equipment

– Biomedical equipment be in good working order and ensure recipients have proper expertise to operate equipment

– Members shall sort items into like categories to ensure shipments match recipient’s needs.

2009 Goals

Ship equivalent of 14 containers (23,000 cu/ft & 172,000 lbs)

Increase volunteer daily activity to achieve 1500 hours annual

Revise sorting process to make it more volunteer friendly

Create a structure to involve hospitals in Southern California (Providence, CHW, Daughters of Charity, St. Joseph of Orange)
