FATHER ABRAHAM, THE LAND AND HIS SON(S)Pastor Tim JohnsonPrayer and Scripture- Elder Andy Carroll

Introduction: Premillennialism and Father Abraham

Point One: God's Plans are Superior to Ours

Point Two: Abram Loved His Son(s) - Ishmael and....Isaac

Point Three: The Land Was Promised to the Descendants of Isaac

Conclusion: The Land and Premillennialism

Psalm 105:8-11 (ESV)“He remembers his covenant forever, the word that he commanded, for a thousand generations, the covenant that he made with Abraham, his sworn promise to Isaac, which he confirmed to Jacob as a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant, saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan as your portion for an inheritance.” ”

MEMORY VERSE:

Digging Deeper:

1. If you want to develop a sound biblically based Biblical Theology for the entire Bible, you must read and study Genesis 12-17.

2. As you read the Bible, do you think God promised the land to the descendants of Isaac?

3. In light of our series, how has your view of "Israel" changed, if at all?
