In 1871, Samuel Bellah, a man l-IL 0 walked with God, held a re- _ vival, and rmmy united with the church, and as some preferred im.mersion, 92 were baptized in and sprinkled on the banks of Big Creek near the Joseph S. Bell place. A year old baby was sprinkled, named Laura le~1

Clement, held in the arms of Ezekiel oberts, a youn negro, who had been tre property of Colonel and IvIrs. Roberts and wastre ir faithful frdmd.

Several glorious reviva1.'3 have been held since tm t time. In 1895, many were united with the church in a revival held by Christopher Davis, pastor, who was called Uncle Chris by both young an old. His ha:ir and beard were whit e and he looked as if he might be one of the old pr pphets.

In 1908 • M. Stanton held a two weeks revival, in a tent meeting just below the church buil ing. fully were converted and joined. Some of those who joined were great, great grandchildren of tbe charter mem­bers.

From this clLurch have gone 17 ministers of the Gospel; 14 Methodist, 2 Baptist and 1 Episcopalian; a number of Sunday School teacre rs and v religious leader's. Many Christian men and women have gone out in the world to do His will on earth as in Heaven.

At the presert time (1951) there are t wo outstanding reachers in the North Georgia Conference; Claud Singleton and aul Stokes.

Shiloh Chur ch was transferred from Alpharetta to tre Cumming Charge in the ear 1936.

At the conclusion of the writing of this h:is tor (1954), we are a ssociated wi th the newly organized Cumming Circuit, and Rev. v. H. Bowman is serving as pastor.
