The activities outlined in these handouts guide teachers to apply what they’ve learned through low-risk, step-by-step experimentation.
By practicing these skills now, participants can immerse themselves in learning while you are there for support. In some cases, teachers can flip the script and try these activities in their own classes.

As you progress through this Teams training, check off each skill as you learn it:
Learner skills checklist: 1-2 hour training
Start a private chat, and:
Start a conversation, and:
�� Send a message.
�� @mention a colleague.
�� Post a reminder.
�� Customize your message with gifs, stickers, fonts, text size, and text color.
�� Save a message for future reference.
�� Mark a message as important.

Upload a file to a conversation, and:
�� Edit the file from the conversation.
�� Talk to your teammates in Teams while editing the file.
�� Find the file you’ve uploaded in the Files tab.
�� Share a link to the file in a private chat.
�� Save the message with the file.
�� Search for the file in the Command box.

Launch a meeting from a private chat and:
�� Invite additional people to the meeting.
�� Share your screen.
�� Share a file to the meeting.
�� Hang up. Answer the meeting call when another participant calls back.
�� Hang up for good this time. Launch a new meeting from a conversation instead.

�� Upload a file to a conversation.�� Edit the file from the conversation. Talk to your other teammates as you edit within Teams.�� Navigate to where that file is now saved within your team. (Yes, you can always find it in the conversation itself, but sometimes files get buried when there are lots of messages. We want to be sure you can find them where they’ve been filed (see image below).�� Share a link to a file to a private chat.�� Save the message with the file (see image below).�� Search for the file you just uploaded in the Command box search bar.
