ADVERBS OF MANNER

•Adverbs of manner tell us how something happens. They are usually placed after the main verb or after the object. He ran... slowly, quickly.. He ate the chocolate cake greedily.•Adverbs of Manner are adjectives that almost always end with –ly, though some are also irregular.

Irregular adverbs : well ,fast ,hard.

Ex. 1a. The child was behaving very badly.

c. His car drove smoothly after the mechanic fixed his engine.

b. The dog was barking aggressively at the children playing noisily.

d. You can’t talk loudly in the library.That would be behaving unacceptably.
