2004 – TIGER FILTRATION LTD IS FOUNDED

Identifying a need for high quality, competitively priced & rapidly delivered

alternative compressed air & vacuum equipment – Tiger Filtration was founded at

Stanfield Business Centre, Sunderland.

2009 – EXPANSIONAfter rapid growth in the UK & overseas

markets, further manufacturing capacity was required; expanding into the adjoining building

allowed a doubling of our floorspace.

2013 – FURTHER EXPANSIONContinual growth required additional space,

Tiger Filtration relocated to our current manufacturing site; occupying an area of 1300

square metres / 14000 square feet.

2007 – 1st MOVEDue to the success of the business, the company required additional manufacturing capacity – Tiger Filtration moved to Unit 4B, Rivergreen Industry Centre, Sunderland – occupying an area of 278 square metres / 3000 square feet.

2011 – QUEEN’S AWARDFollowing substantial year on year growth & exporting over 60% of our products overseas – Tiger Filtration won the Queen’s award for Enterprise: International Trade.

2014 – 10th ANNIVERSARYTiger Filtration celebrates its 10th anniversary.

2017 – HIGH-PRESSURE HOUSINGSManufacturing of our high-pressure

stainless-steel housing range commenced.

We offer one of the most comprehensive ranges of alternative in-line filter elements in the market today, spanning over 6500 different filter products. Our products are completely interchangeable with the leading names from the compressed air industry and are manufactured in our modern facility in Sunderland, UK.

Our products have been independently tested and are proven to perform "as good, if not better" than the original equipment manufacturer. In acquiring our quality certification we continuously work with the Institute for Energy and Environmental Technology [IUTA] in Duisburg, Germany - in accordance with ISO 8573 & ISO 12500 quality standards; our products meet or exceed the performance of their original counterparts, contact us for a copy of our certification.

As well as standard compressed air, we manufacture a range of products to work within high temperature, sterile air, compressed natural gas [CNG] and hot ammonia.

Recognised supply chain: We can supply a range of condensate management systems, auto-drains, filter housing O-ring kits & activated carbon granules for use in the servicing of carbon towers, contact us for further details.

Robust Construction: We work with the leading manufacturers of filtration media to ensure maximum particulate retention whilst maintaining exceptionally low levels of differential pressure throughout our product's lifecycle. From installation to replacement, we guarantee complete satisfaction; or your money back.

Intelligent Design: Our standard elements utilise a polyester needlefelt anti-re-entrainment sleeve which is capable of withstanding a constant operating temperature of 120°C /

248°F. We also manufacture elements that perform in harsh environmental applications such as high temperatures & hot ammonia. Available at your request, elements can be supplied with reticulated foam outer sleeves. Solid Construction: Our products are supplied as standard with both internal and external support cylinders. Tiger Filtration supply a complete range of alternative vacuum pump separators (oil mist filters) for use in oil lubricated vacuum pumps. Our products are in-house tested using a dispersed oil particulate (DOP) photometer and can be either batch or 100% tested depending upon your specifications. Following rigorous testing with IUTA, our products are proven to perform "as good, if not better" than the original equipment manufacturer.

Vacuum Pump Separators account for 50% of Tiger Filtration's product turnover - we are so confident in the performance of our products that we offer free of charge samples upon request - contact us for further details.

OVR CartridgesIn applications where compressed air is required to meet ISO8573-1 Class 0 or Class 1 air quality - Tiger Filtration's alternative to Parker domnick hunter's OVR Oil Vapour Removal Cartridges are a more economically viable and essential component of the compressed air treatment system.

TFL's alternative to the Parker dh models are designed to reduce oil vapour, whilst mitigating the issues of traditional loose filled carbon towers in the same way as the original counterpart. OVR cartridges provide an increased contact time due to specially designed air channelling within the cartridge - this ensures continued performance, combats against heavy attrition of the adsorbent material and avoids blockage of downstream filters.

Tiger Filtration's alternative OVR cartridges are manufactured using a "snow storm" filling technique which ensures an additional 12% carbon granules can settle within the construction. The use of cartridges also provides trouble free maintenance, reducing system downtime.

The TFL alternative OVR cartridge series ensures consistent outlet air quality over 12 months of continuous operation.

Intelligent Design: Each filter is supplied with a detachable pre-filtration layer/sock which provides protection to the high-efficiency media.

Longevtity: Repeatedly autoclavable up to 50 cycles.

Medical Autoclaves

Autoclave filter elements are installed in critical applications where sterile air is needed to break the vacuum formed by the condensation of steam within the autoclave chamber.

Our alternative range of autoclave filter elements are designed to sustain 50 steam sterilisation cycles before a replacement is needed - the membrane is capable of removing particles down to 0.01 micron - ensuring the safe removal of viruses, bacteria and bacteriophage.

High Pressure Filter HousingTiger Filtration manufacture a range of high-pressure stainless-steel filter housings which are suitable for use in standard compressed air and gas applications but also meet the criteria for use in extreme operating conditions - capable of withstanding high or low temperatures & mechanical stresses such as vibrations.

Customisable for Your Applications: Thread connections are manufactured as standard with either BSP/NPT but can be customised at your request.

High Specification: Our FEP (Teflon®) O-rings have a silicon inner core, with an FEP encapsulation & are used due to their exceptional chemical resistance; capable of withstanding constant operating temperatures of up to 204°C / 400°F.

Robust Element Design: Stainless steel endcaps are fitted to elements where applications involve high temperatures & aggressive gasses.

Traceability: Products are identified with a unique serial number.

Available in several grades of stainless steel with a choice of inlet-outlet thread connections - designed to meet your specification. Each housing is designed to meet the requirements of The Pressure Equipment Directive (97/23/EC) in accordance to the ASME VIII Div. 1 Boiler Pressure Vessel Code.
