The polythene seals the vacuum within the lay in order to stabilise thefabric for accurate cutting whilst the Perforated Underlay allows thevacuum to be drawn through the fabric and stops the fabric and anydust or lint from being drawn into the bristle bed. It also provides amedium for the lay to be moved from spreading to cutting tables.

Eastman Auto Track Falcon® End CutterWhilst similar to the manual Falcon lV, the travel of the Auto Track’scutting head & the lifting/lowering of the track mechanism aremotorised. The knife can be activated either at the control panel or byremote control. The system is totally enclosed & can be installed inminutes. The control panel includes controls for:

Eastman Falcon® lV End CutterThe track guided Falcon enables the operator to make a fast, perfectlysquare cut of virtually any fabric, even quilted fabrics & foam up to11/2" thick. It is equipped with an integrated on/off switch thatactivates the knife motor only when the head is moved away from itsresting position & it can be supplied with a lifting mechanism whichallows the track to be raised above the cut ply & then lowered ontothe lay, keeping the cut ply aligned at the cut end. The optional ClothAlignment Bar (CAB) serves as a guide to enable the operator to lay &align each ply perfectly. The CAB is also available with a liftingmechanism so that it can be raised & laid on top of the lay after eachply. An optional bias attachment is available to permit track guidedcutting at any angle. Using the clamping brackets, the Falcon lV isfitted to any type of cutting table in seconds & is supplied with astandard 40" handle for use on tables up to 72" wide. Longer handlesare available on request.

Eastman MP2 Magnum™Punch PerforatorUsed extensively in the upholstery trade, permanent markers are madefrom heavy pattern paper through which a series of holes are punchedto form the patterns. Lay powder is then dusted through the holes toleave an outline of the patterns on the top ply of fabric. The PunchPerforator is a solid state machine which cuts four clean holes per inch.It features adjustable punching strength, three sizes of hole, and asingle switch to change between free-wheeling, single punch, orcontinuous punching. Eastman LTM ThreadmarkerThe Threadmarker inserts a string through each ply of a lay. The threadis then looped around the cut pieces & tied to create a bundle. It canalso be used to temporarily marks delicate fabrics when a permanentmark is not desirable. Maximum capacity is 6".

Terms & Conditions

1. These conditions are the terms on which Eastman Staples Ltd. (Eastman)contract for the Sale of Goods and/or the supply of services and no variation ofthem shall be of any effect unless expressly agreed in writing by Eastman.

2. Unless otherwise agreed in writing these conditions shall prevail over any termsor conditions otherwise stipulated, incorporated or referred to by the Buyerwhether in the order or in any negotiations and whether or not the same isexpressed to override these conditions.

3. Eastman shall have no liability whether in contract or tort or whether imposedby common law, trade custom, statute or otherwise for any warranty,representation or advice made or given by it, its servants or agents or on itsbehalf in respect of the good sold or services supplied and whether the samewas made or given negligently or otherwise and whenever the same was madeor given whether before the contract or otherwise.

4. Eastman does not represent, warranty or contract that the goods sold orservices supplied are fit for any particular purpose which the Buyer expressly orby implication may have made known to Eastman and any term that the goodsor services are reasonably fit for such purpose implied by common law, tradecustom, statute or otherwise is hereby expressly excluded. Further, Eastmandoes not represent warrant or contract that the goods sold and servicessupplied are suitable for use in the location in which the Buyer uses the goodsand in which the services are supplied and any term that the goods or servicesare suitable for use in such location implied by common law, trade, custom orotherwise is hereby expressly excluded.

5. Where Eastman sells goods which are fitted to any machine in the possession ofthe Buyer (whether or not initially supplied by Eastman) Eastman shall not beliable for any breach of a term that the goods shall be of merchantable qualitywhether express or implied by common law, trade custom, statute or otherwiseunless the Buyer proves that the goods Eastman supplied were fitted by acompetent person.

6. All warranties, guarantees terms or conditions whether express or implied bycommon law trade custom statute or otherwise are excluded save for theimplied term that goods sold shall be of merchantable quality.

7. No order shall be binding upon Eastman unless it is expressly accepted inwriting by Eastman.

8. All prices are exclusive of Value Added Tax and/or any other taxes, levies, dutiesor surcharges.

9. Postage, packing, carriage, delivery or handling (whether in transit or otherwise)if not included in the quotations or estimates are chargeable as extra.

10. Eastman reserves the right, by giving notice to the Buyer at any time beforedelivery, to increase the price of the goods to reflect any increase in the costs toEastman which is due to any factor beyond the control of Eastman (such as,without limitation, any foreign exchange fluctuation, currency regulation,alteration of duties, significant increase in the cost of labour, materials or othercosts of manufacture), any change in delivery dates, quantities or specificationsfor the goods which is requested by the Buyer, or any delay caused by anyinstruction of the Buyer or failure of the Buyer to give Eastman adequateinformation or instructions.

11. The Buyer shall pay the price of the goods (without any deduction other thanany discount to which the Buyer is entitled) within 30 days of the date ofEastman's invoice and Eastman shall be entitled to recover the price notwithstanding the delivery may not have taken place and the property in thegoods has not passed to the Buyer. Eastman shall thereupon be entitled tocharge and the Buyer shall pay interest to Eastman calculated at the rate of 2_%per month upon purchase price or any part outstanding.

12. On approval orders are accepted by Eastman on the strict condition that thegoods are only on approval for 14 days. After the expiration of 14 days from thedate of delivery or collection the goods are deemed to have been purchasedfrom Eastman by the person who orders the goods on approval and to havebeen purchased on he terms set out in these conditions. If within that period of14 days Eastman has received by recorded delivery at its Registered Officewritten notice that the person by whom the goods were ordered on approvaldoes not wish to purchase them, then a sale will not be deemed as aforesaid.The good shall remain the property of Eastman until the property in them haspassed in accordance with these conditions.

13. Eastman only undertake to deliver the goods to the ground floor entrance ofthe Buyers' premises during Eastman's normal business hours.

14. If for any reason the Buyer is unable to or does not collect or take delivery ofany goods at the time when the same are due and ready for collection ordelivery Eastman shall, if and only it its storage facilities permit, store the goodsand take all reasonable steps to prevent their deterioration until the Buyer takesdelivery thereof and the Buyer shall be liable to Eastman for the reasonable costincluding storage and insurance of so doing. This condition shall be in additionto and not in substitution for any other payment or damages for which theBuyer may be or become liable in respect of this failure to take delivery at theappropriate date.

15. Any times and/or dates whenever and whosoever stated or given by Eastmanand relating to the sale by Eastman of any goods and/or the supply of serviceare given and intended as best estimates only and shall under no circumstanceswhatsoever be or become of the essence of any agreement between the Buyerand Eastman shall under no circumstances whatsoever be liable to the Buyer forany loss, damage, expenses, whether caused or arising directly or indirectly byor from any delay in the delivery of goods or the provision of services or thealteration to the said times or dates.

16. All claims arising out of or relating to the goods to any part thereof alleged bythe Buyer to have been damaged before delivery or delivered short (whetherthe goods or any part have been the subject of a sale or the supply or services)shall be notified in writing to and received by Eastman within 14 days of anysuch delivery If the said notification of any claim as aforesaid is not received byEastman within the said period Eastman shall be under no liability whatsoever inrespect of the said damage or short delivery.

17. If Eastman shall have any liability to the Buyer in respect of or arising out of thesale of goods or the supply of services whether under the contact therefore orat common law or under trade statute or otherwise that liability shall be limitedto the amount of the price paid for the goods or services less one twenty-fourthpart therefore for each month which elapsed between the delivery of the goodsto or the collection of the goods by the Buyer or the date of conclusion of thesupply of services and the date of receipt of complaint in respect thereof byEastman.

18. If Eastman supply goods and/or services involving the carrying out of work byEastman on land and/or premises not occupied by Eastman (other than for thepurpose of carrying out the said work) the Buyer will indemnify and keepEastman indemnified in respect of any liability of Eastman arising out of thecarrying out of that work (whether such liability arises under the contract or atcommon law or under trade custom statute or otherwise) and whether or notthat liability is to the Buyer, his servants, agents or employees or is to any otherperson, and in pursuance of this obligation the Buyer undertakes to insureaccordingly.

(i) If the goods or services to be supplied by Eastman are to be manufactured orany process is to be applied to the goods by Eastman in accordance with aspecification submitted by the Buyer, the Buyer shall indemnify Eastman againstall loss, damages, costs and expenses awarded against or incurred by Eastmanin connection with or paid or agree to be paid by Eastman in settlement of anyclaim for infringement of any patent, copyright, design, trade mark or otherindustrial or intellectual property rights from any person which results from theEastman's use of the Buyer's specification.

(ii) Eastman reserves the right to make any changes in the specification of thegoods which are required to conform with any applicable statutory or EECrequirements or where the goods are to be supplied to Eastman's specificationwhich do not materially affect their quality or performance

19. No goods, whether the subject of a sale agreement or whether on approval,shall be returned to Eastman's premises unless written notice thereof has beengiven to Eastman and Eastman has agree thereto.

20. The risk in respect of any goods the subject of these conditions shall in all casespass to and be borne by the Buyer upon the taking delivery or collection of thesame by or on behalf of the Buyer from Eastman's premises aforesaid or uponany such delivery by or on behalf of Eastman as is set out in condition 14 ofthese Conditions.

21. The property in respect of any goods the subject to these Conditions shall passto the Buyer only upon receipt by Eastman of the purchase price and/or anyaddition to or variation thereof howsoever arising.

22. If the buyer has not paid the whole of the purchase price and/or any addition toor variation therefore howsoever arising and shall commit an act of bankruptcyor have a receiver appointed whether by order or otherwise or a Winding Uporder is commenced against the Buyer, or shall make any arrangement with theBuyer's creditors or any assignment for the benefit of such creditors or if distressor execution shall be levied or threatened upon any of the Buyer's property orany judgement against the buyer shall remain unsatisfied for more than 14 daysor if the Buyer shall abandon the goods then this agreement shall automaticallyand without notice determine and the Buyer shall not be in possession of thegoods with the owner's consent. In such event Eastman may at any time recoverthe goods and dispose of them as Eastman see fit.

(i) Notwithstanding delivery and the passing of risk in the goods or any otherprovision of these conditions the property in the goods shall not pass to theBuyer until Eastman has received in cash or cleared funds payment in full of theprice of the goods and all other goods agreed to be sold by Eastman to theBuyer for which payment is then due.

(ii) Until such time as the property in the goods passes to the Buyer, the Buyer shallhold the goods as Eastman's fiduciary agent and bailee, and shall keep thegoods, separate from those of the Buyer and third parties and properly stored,protected and insured and identified as Eastman's property, but the Buyer shallbe entitled to resale or use the goods in the ordinary course of its business

(iii) Until such time as the property in the goods passes to the Buyer (and providedthe goods are still in existence and have not be resold). Eastman shall beentitled at any time to require the buyer to deliver up the goods to Eastmanand, if the Buyer fails to do so forthwith, to enter upon any premises of thebuyer or any third party where the goods are stored and repossess the goods.

(iv) The Buyer shall not be entitled to pledge or in anyway charge by way ofsecurity for any indebtedness any of the goods which remain the property ofEastman, but if the Buyer does so all monies owing by the Buyer to Eastmanshall (without prejudice to any other right or remedy of Eastman) forthwithbecome due and payable.

23. Where the performance by Eastman of any contract the subject of theseconditions is prevented, frustrated or impeded by any cause beyond its controlincluding but not limited to war invasion, act of foreign enemy hostilities(whether war be declared or not) civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection,usurpation of power, change in the law of any country whether by directlegislation or indirect legislation, rule, regulation or order, strike, lock-out, tradedispute, accident or breakdown the contract shall be discharged and Eastmanshall be relived of all its liabilities hereunder provided however that whereEastman has paid any money or incurred any expenses or other liability inrespect of the said contract the Buyer shall indemnify Eastman In respect ofsuch payment, expense or liability.

24. Installation of goods and/or the training of personnel in respect of the handlingor use thereof will be chargeable as an extra.

25. Eastman reserves the right to vary the specification of any goods without priornotice or approval by the buyer,

26. If any provision of these conditions is held by any competent authority to beinvalid or unenforceable in whole or in part the validity of the other provisions ofthese conditions and the remainder of the provisions in questions shall not beaffected.

27. The laws of England and Wales shall apply and any proceedings arising fromthe sale of goods or the supply of services by Eastman shall be brought inEngland and Wales.
