Eligibility
Students who have obtained 60% and above marks in qualifying examination. This scholarship is subject to sanction of the Director of Higher Education, Pune.
Free education facilities are available to students belonging to Economically Backward Classes, in Open Category whose parent’s income is within the income limit prescribed by Maharashtra State Government, (which is at preset Rs. 8,00,000/--p.a.). This concession is limited to two children only. No concession shall be given to 3rd child & onwards. This concession is applicable to the students of Faculty of Humanities, Science & Technology and Commerce & Management. As the PG Course is on No-Grant basis, students of P.G. Courses will not get this concession. Also the concession will not be applicable to the students of private Autonomous university or private self financed universities.
As per G.R.No. TEM/2016/Prakra 501/TE-4 dated 13.10.2016 issued by Govt. of Maharashtra, Higher and Technical Education Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai, the parent’s Annual income limit is increased to Rs. 2.50 Lac p.a. for UG degree in Hotel Management Catering Technology and P.G. Degree in Hospitality Management only. Admission of such student should be done through CET conducted by Maharashtra Govt. For availing concession students have to fill in the online form available on website- www.mahadbtmahait.gov.in and submit to the college.
This concession is available to students whose parents are teachers or Non-Teaching Staff in Middle School/High School or Junior College in the Govt. Zilla Parishad/Corporation/Private Govt. Aided schools/colleges in regular pay scale.
Secondary School Teachers should produce a certificate from their school stating that their school is on grant in aid and they teach upto which classes.

COURSE ON ENIVIRONMENTAL STUDIES (EVS)
STARTED FROM THE SESSION 2007-2008
As per Notification No.2 dt. 27-02-2007 AND Direction No.2 of 2010 of Rashtrasant Tukadoji
Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur a course of Six Months duration in Environmental Studies is
compulsory at under-graduate level in addition to regular optional subjects of all branches and
faculties of higher education under Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur and
will be taught in Second Year and can be cleared in the Third Year in case the student remains
absent or fails to clear the course in its first attempt. It is necessary to clear this paper, for which,
there is an in-house examination, in March 2022 in order to be eligible for a degree certificate.
As per University Guidelines, all Second Year students will have to pay Rs. 100/- at the time of
Admission. There will be four lectures per week as per the time table of Second Year classes of the
college.
