To make sure my images are suitable and interesting on my pages, I have decided to gather ideas and examples from magazines such as Q. Using my models, I wish to re-create some of these images to attract the attention of the readers and to make the photographs seem professional and different.For my contents page, I wish to take four images including males and females as well as a group. I also aim to take various shots including close ups and long shots, to make each photo different. For my article, I wish to take either a close up or medium shot of my model Nathan to intrigue the readers.

Contents Page Image IdeasThis medium shot of Lana Del Ray is an interesting and professionally taken. I personally like the pose as it reveals her style as well as her face, attracting readers. I believe that I could re-create this image and insert this into my contents page.

This group image from NME is simple and effective as each member of the group is revealed behind the main singer.

This close up image from a Q’s contents page is bold and intriguing. Personally, I like this image as it is simple as well as clearly revealing the artists face.

This image from Billboard is a long shot of a female artist and could be re-created in my contents page. Personally, I like the full body shot, revealing the artist and their style.

Double Page spread Image Ideas

This simplistic image was used in a Q article. The close up reveals to the audience the artist as well as being bold with the use of red on the left hand side of the image.

This medium long shot reveals the artists personality through his clothing as well as his face.

This close up draws the attention of the reader due to the artist looking directly into the camera, creating a connection with the reader and the artist.

This relaxed image from Billboard is a medium long shot of singer Lily Allen. This pose could be used as it pushes the artists face closer, and therefore grabbing the readers attention.
