This is a 100 acre bungalow scheme at the foot-hill of the world famous Umaid Bhavan. Echoing the palace, all the bungalows are being built in local Jodhpur stone. The landscape design too relies heavily on this stone for the hard surfaces as well as garden furniture such as pavilions, pergolas, seats etc. In order to avail of the maximum usable space, the level differences were achieved with help of stone retaining walls. However while selecting the plant material, care was taken that the plant heights helped to visually subdue the level differences. Privacy of the bungalows abutting the central green was given equal importance and while selecting the species. care was taken to ensure that the garden user was unable to look into the residences while the view from the bungalow was intact. In order to ensure the sustainability of the greenery. due attention was given to the selection of plants which are able to withstand the extreme Jodhpur climate

In the MMRDA's endeavour of developing the Bandra-Kurla complex as an ideal Business District, the City Plaza assumes great importance as an Urban Green Space. The park is being used by the office goers and residents of nearby localities alike. These 7 acres of prime urban open space has two sections, viz the Plaza and the Park. Following are the salient features of each section. The Plaza: This is a multi purpose space being used mainly by the people who come to work in the area. Built around a large water fountain this place serves both as a resting and transit zone. There is a small Amphitheatre where people can enjoy short roadside entertainment shows during the working days or even a serious play or concert during the weekends. The Park: This is mainly a family recreation zone that can be equally enjoyed by the working population as well as residents of this locality. The paved sitouts, shaded by pergolas and trees and undulating lawns provide a variety of sitting places for the people. A 3m wide track offers uninterrupted walking and jogging pleasure for the health buffs. A well-appointed children's play area, complete with a 300 sq. m. skating rink, a giant chessboard and a novel complex of playthings has become quite a sensation. The Flora: The selection of plants has been done with careful consideration. The tree species have been selected for their flowers (every season will find at least some trees in flowering condition), foliage (especially the leaf texture) and evergreen character, since shade is of paramount importance.
