The position
Based in London or Norwich. Working in our studio of over 40 people including researchers, visual/interaction designers, creative technologists and developers.
You’ll be working on diverse design briefs with a range of clients, but initially will be focused on large, complex design transformation programmes.
An experienced designer, you’ll be confident setting and hitting budgets whilst working to the expected level of quality.
You’ll have a commercial awareness that naturally leads you towards lean, creative ways of understanding and solving design problems.
You lead by example by sharing your experiences and teaching others, providing critique and direction to your peers and project team members.
The person You’ll be able to show how you have planned and executed live client briefs in previous roles from initial thinking through to directing build teams.
You can demonstrate how you represented the voice of the customer in the design process having taken customer insight gathered through primary research to inform your thinking.
Responsibilities
Influence peers and clients through your design recommendations that are directly influenced by insight gathered through research.
Responsible for briefing and directing the design and creative thinking on the projects you are involved in.
Challenge yourself and others to think creatively, improving the standard of our work and broadening the skills we have.
Represent the team’s work, and communicate the ideas andrationale that have informed their design approach.
Responsibility for identifying, communicating and tracking to project objectives.
Proposal writing with responsibility for directing approach, budget and timescales.
