COMMON FEATURES IN DOUBLE SPREAD PAGES

The double spreads usually have a big and attracting master heads to embrace and highlight the context of the page.

The main body text in the page is always in a rigid structure; in line, ruled, gridded and structured. This creates an illusion of an article which makes it important and significant to read for the audience.

The pictures that are used in the double spreads are usually shot in portrait which creates a formal style and it makes it more comfortable for the audience to analyze and observe the picture because its less effortless to move positions to see the picture clearly. This is an advantage because the text will take an effort to read therefore the picture makes it less boring to read.

All of the pages have a pull quote to summaries the whole article. This also makes it interesting for the audience to understand and learn about the most important aspect of the entire interview with the artist.
