Double Page Spread Changes

•The first change I did was to change the heading. Firstly I changed the wording because after looking through music magazine interviews I found none of them had ‘Exclusive Interview’ as their title so I changed it.•The next change was to move it further into the top left hand corner so that there was space underneath for a sub-heading.•My third change was to add a sub-heading which briefly summarised what you could expect to read in the interview.

•The next change I made was to move the text boxes up the page so that it filled some of the space between the sub-heading and the text and so that the text wasn’t so close to the bottom of the page.

•The next change was to add my name in the sub-heading box so that the readers would be able to know who wrote the article. Also it adds a more friendly feel to the article because you know who has written the article.

•I then decided that the positioning of my images were not like those in a music magazine so I decided to move one of the images and integrate it in the text.

•I then decided that the picture still wasn’t really in the middle of the text so I split the middle column into two separate boxes and put the image in between them both so that the image was in the centre of all the texts. This gives the article more of a feel of a music magazine interview. •I also got rid of the other photo at the top of the page because I thought that it wasn’t really relevant to the text therefore it was a pointless image.

•The next big change I made was to the background colour. I looked through several different music magazines and found that hardly any of them had background colours least of all the colour blue so I decided to get rid of the background colour and keep it simple by having it white.

•I then moved the pull quote to the top of the page because I thought it would fill the space nicely.

•I then added captions for the pictures. I placed them in the bottom right hand corner over the bottom of the image.

•I then took my name out of the sub-heading and placed it at the end of the text because quite a lot of existing magazines have their name at the end of the text so that you can see who has written it after you have finished reading the whole article

•I then moved the caption box off the image and place it under the end of the text. I though that it seem like a better place here as it was off the main image of the page. Also I found that it filled the gap underneath the end of the text.

•I then changed the font of the pull quote because I found that it was quite difficult to read when it was in bold. Also I though the change of font also made it easier to read and I thought it went well with the font of the article.

•The final change I made was to add in a page number at the bottom which corresponds to the same page stated on the contents page.
