Communication Skills can be categorized as Receptive and Productive.

Receptive Skills: Language acquisition by receiving information, namely Listening & Reading Skills.

Productive Skills: Language acquisition by producing information, namely Speaking & Writing Skills .

The relationship between Receptive and Productive Skills is a complex one, with one set of skills naturally supporting another e.g. building listening skills can contribute to the development of speaking.

The Training will be conducted as:

Conduct a Group Discussion for the students to demonstrate the critical elements of making an impact during a Group Discussion. We employ innovative techniques of learning by doing and learning by observing peers in a Group Discussion

Conduct a Group Personal Interview wherein we would select a few volunteers to demonstrate the key elements of how to successfully face Campus Interviews.

We also propose to do one-on-one interviews to help students thoroughly prepare for their dream careers

CEO of HUM Consulting, Chand is an alumnus of XLRI’s PGD (PM&IR) 1999-2001 batch.

He has about 19 years of work experience across Engineering, ITES, Media, and Consulting & Training. His last corporate role was as the Group Head, OD – Network18 Media & Investments Ltd.

During 2008 and 2009, Network 18 was adjudged as `The Best Place To Work’ for two consecutive years (GPTW + The Economic Times Survey)
