“How to Prepare for Campus Placement”

invited Mr. Deepak Bhatt, Vice President - Business World for an interactive Session on

“How to Prepare for Campus Placement” with final year students from Computer

Engineering & Information Technology branch on 14/07/2016, Thursday at SOCET

campus.

Mr. Bhatt began his interaction with “How to introduce yourself to an Interviewer?” He

explained various parameters like Body Language, Tone of the Speech, Dressing Attire,

and Presentation skills.

He shared examples of different interviews he has carried out and motivated students

to think out of the box. He also encouraged students to be more participative in various

co- curriculum activities.

He gave tips to make effective resume. He also discussed various sections and details

that students should include while preparing their resume.

He also suggested to read through Biography and Auto Biographies of successful

individuals and to develop goal setting process, confidence building, negotiating skills,

time management and logical thinking through it.

At the end of the sessions students asked questions related to career building, prospects

of industrial jobs etc. Mr. Bhatt answered all the questions and solved queries of the

students.
