tips and ideas to help you.

Content Tips

• Make your post skimmable. Most people skim through posts looking for pictures and key words. You can use headers, text boxes, pictures and formatting for this.

• Short and straight to the point posts are more likely to grab your readers attention unless they have all the time in the world to read and read and read your long post. The average person spends about 1 ½ minutes per post.

• Create fresh new content 4 – 5 times weekly but put time and thought into it. Quality is better than quantity.

• Write it the way you would speak it but use proper grammar and spelling.

Content Ideas

• Do a series of posts…part 1, part 2, etc……

• Lists are very popular

• Invite other bloggers to guest blog on your site

• Invite your readers to do a post for your site

• Interview a popular blogger or author and post it

• Have a theme for every day of the week

• Review products that are hot

• Ask your readers what they want to read about
