Design Architect

$500,000 renovation of existing club space including 8,000 sf club, 4,000 sf courtyard, 4,000 sf dining room, 4,000 sf dining & catering kitchen, 1,000 sf bistro. Restaurant opened October 2010, Club opened January 2011.

Wilshire La Jolla Residential Tower - Los Angeles, California

Project Manager/Project Architect for Construction Documents, Nadel Architects, Los Angeles.

120 unit residential tower, with commercial retail base and residential amenities including pool, recreation decks and club spaces. Opens September 2011.

Del Rey Shores Apartments - Marina del Rey, California

Project Manager/Project Architect for Construction Documents, Nadel Architects, Los Angeles.

Nadel Residential Architects - 544 unit low rise residential complex, including affordable rent units; redeveloped on the site of existing 200 unit complex from 1962. Opens September 2011.

Roybal Learning Center (LAUSD / Central Los Angeles High School No. 11, formerly Belmont Learning Center) Los Angeles, California

Project Manager, WWCOT Architects, Santa Monica.

$150 million, 220,000 s.f. rehabilitated existing space, 110,000 s.f. new construction, plus athletic courts and fields serving 3100 students on redeveloped urban site. Includes conceptual studies through construction. Existing facilities rehabilitated include three story classroom building (six academies) and gymnasium/locker areas over structured parking. New facilities include academy/administration and library/multi-purpose auditorium/food service building. Opened September 2008.

Panorama High School (LAUSD / East Valley New High School No. 3) - Panorama City (Los Angeles), California

Project Manager, WWCOT Architects, Santa Monica.

$60 million, 270,000 s.f. programmed area; facilities include four story classrooms/library/administration buildings, 1200 seat auditorium, two story athletic/food service building and athletic/parking facility serving 2100 students on redeveloped urban/industrial site for the Los Angeles Unified School District.

Opened September 2005.

Madison Avenue Elementary School (LAUSD/ South Gate New Elementary School No. 6) - South Gate, California

Project Manager for Design and Construction, WWCOT Architects, Santa Monica.

$11 million, 55,000 s.f., opened January 2005. New school facility serving 500 students on redeveloped urban commercial site. Campus includes 28 classrooms, administration, and library over parking, separate multi-purpose building and play fields. Included DSA review and approvals.

LAPD / North Valley and West Valley Area Police Stations - Mission Hills and Reseda (Los Angeles), California Project Manager for master planning, design and construction, WWCOT Architects, Santa Monica.

$17 million; 54,000 s.f. police stations; campus includes car 300 parking structure, motor services and radio tower. Design adaptation and re-use of documents for second site, pushed through in 6 months from initial discussion to groundbreaking. Both stations scheduled to open in March 2005.

Hyatt West Hollywood, Public Area Renovation - West Hollywood, California Project Manager/Project Architect, CMMI Architects, Atlanta, Georgia.

$6,000,000 total work, $4,000,000 architecture; 60,000 s.f., completed January 2000. Work included reconfiguration of basement service areas; gut and re-load of ground floor public areas; renovation of ground through third floor facades, canopies and streetscape; and demolition/reconstruction of rooftop social spaces. FF&E included.

Grand Hyatt San Francisco, Restaurant and Club Renovation - San Francisco, California

Project Manager/Project Architect, CMMI Architects, Atlanta, Georgia.

$2,000,000, 12,000. s.f. completed March 1998. Included relocation of hotel restaurant from Union Square mezzanine to 36th floor penthouse with renovation included adjacent function spaces and relocation of the hotel’s club lounge and business center.

$1.2 million, 7000 S.F. Concept development, design, and construction of prototype restaurant for chain of southwest themed restaurants. Completed 1996

Houston’s Restaurants - Marietta, GA; Pompano Beach, FL; North Miami Beach, FL

Project Manager/Project Architect, Seiber Design, Inc., Atlanta, Georgia.

$1.5 million, 8,000.00 s.f. each on 1.5 to 5 acres per site, formerly unbuildable sites adjacent to burgeoning commercial areas were developed as prominent local presences to maximize visibility.

• Windy Hill (Marietta, Georgia) - sloping site raised 30 to 60 feet to create parking pads and create auto circulation while protecting adjacent watershed. Completed 1993.

• Pompano Beach (not pictured)- restaurant and parking areas on 3 parcels, one a mitigated environmental hazard site, creating visibility beneath an adjacent bridge and complying with Intercoastal Waterway envelope restrictions. Completed 1995.

• North Miami Beach - reclaimed lakefront land, mitigated environmental hazards and protected adjacent manatee lagoon; developed out-parcel for retail/commercial spin-off. Completed 1997.
