PICTURES FROM

FILMING

Page 2: Picture from pracitce filming

While we was filming we decided to take a couple pictures as we went along. The top picture was taken while we was in the subway. We wanted to film some shots in that mirror as we liked the way it formed a different effect, however this was difficult as we couldn't’t get the correct angle without the camera reflecting in the shot. The picture below is of our actress played by Frankie. This taken when she was in the unfurnished room. We was experimenting different positions and camera shots of filming her and the bad conditions we want out actress to be in.

This picture is again of our actress played by Frankie. As you can see to the left Sydney was experimenting ways on how to create a pan from a low angle of the position she was laying in. We had great difficultly in holding the camera still while holding it at a low angle and panning all at once. But by improvising we managed to use a skateboard to create that smooth pan finally we wanted to open up our music video.

This is the artist played by myself. By researching influences we came up with this image for the artist. Heavy dark eye shadow and lips all contributed to the genre and theme of the music video. By making the artist dress up in dark clothing, this rounded off the whole punk rock look we was intending to create. Studded jewelry and statement necklaces also made an impact as it was bold and stood out making it different and appealing to our target audience.

This Picture is of our actresses location. The holes in her tights, half empty wine bottle, concrete floor, dirty sheets and pieces of broken furniture all adds and builds up to the atmosphere of her situation. It shows the negative state she is in, and by using the effect black and white it reflects the dull dark life she is suffering in.

These are some of the shots taken from the editing of the practice filming . The Top picture is of the artist singing in the subway. As a group we liked the titling and the graffiti as the background of the shot as it furthered the effect of the genre towards the audience. The picture below shows the actress looking in different angles. As a group we decided for the actress to not make eye contact with the camera and for only the artist too as it would be more dramatic. We also liked the positioning of the camera and lighting as a heavy shadow formed behind the actress, making it look like natural daylight seeping in.

This picture was taken in the subway, of the artist. The camera is positioned in front of her to get the shots we required from looking at our story board we made. The lights on the side walls of the subway helped the lighting majorly as it gave the right amount of brightness we needed to equip the filming.
