Cloud times for PND
The navigators we generally use are a kind of independent and offline stand-alone device. It never exchange any data and information with outside except that it can receive GPS signals passively and run pre-installed map. On this condition, utilization and application of navigators are very limited. First, the update of navigation map is cumbersome because of the quick change of domestic infrastructure, second, it is a slim possibility for users to acquire real-time transportation conditions and finally prevent heavy traffic.
PND industry has entered into a bottleneck and profit is squeezing since 2010. Influenced by smart phone, its growth will be slowing in the next 5 years and . OneLocate
GPS is a widespread technology used in navigation, positioning and monitoring etc. Although the accuracy of GPS positioning is high, the environment and weather condition can also make a big difference to positioning results. How to improve positioning accuracy under severe environment is the key to promote users’ experience and extensive application of LBS.
G&T’s celluar positioning technology----OneLocate is a feature implemented in FIBOCOM G600/G610 modules. OneLocate can improve the positioning accuracy even in severe cases such as the GPS signals are very weak, GPS jamming signals are present and so on. OneLocate is a value-added service under the help of GIS(Geographic information system). It could receive location information from users’ mobile terminals through telecommunication network(e.g. GSM, CDMA).

Cell Lock
Cell lock means the cell switch of terminal devices is prohibited no matter how strong the signals are in the neighboring cell. Before unlocking the instruction, it is impossible to switch into other cells. And its features are in the following :

Anti- jamming
All of GPS receivers will come with jamming when the satellite signals are very
weak. GPS satellite sends out signals with a
output power of 30W in 2000km above us. The signal from GPS satellite is -120dBm

Packaging
Wireless communication modules are moisture sensitive profucts. When reflow soldering, modules must be moisture-free to avoid defect. When soldering by hand, Moisture levels are not an issue.
Module By SMD Modules by SMD come in 250 unit reels. The reels are dry-sealed into ESD and moisture-shielding bags. Sample quantities (of less than 250 units) are packed into ESD bags. Moisture levels are not an issue when hand-soldering. Baking instructions must be closely observed if reflow soldering is used.
Module With Connector
Modules with connector come into 100 unit trays which is ESD-protected and moisture-
shielding. Sample quantities (of less than 20 units) are packed into ESD bag.
