IntroductionTransportation is always going to be changing, from the very first car to the very first driverless cars. The world will never stop evolving and we decided to do a topic on which the world will always need and want. Here are four new types of transportation coming in the future...

Jetpacks

Driverless Cars

Movable Sidewalks

Teleportation

Jetpacks

Jetpacks have been talked about forever in movies but are just now coming out into the real world.

Great way of transportation for the military.

Jetpacks are predicted to be in mass production.

The military was the first producer.

As of today Martin’s is the only manufacturer.

Special clearance is needed to test the jetpacks.

There is only about 100,000 in existence.

Driverless Cars

The time is coming where cars will no longer need to be driven by a human but by mechanical engineering.

These types of cars can help lower the driving, prevent accidents, help to transport the elderly that can no longer drive.

Google is currently working on the cars.

It is predicted that the first driverless car will be out in 2017 and that by the early 2020s every major car company will produce similar cars.

Moving sidewalks

The world already has some moving sidewalks but we are working on producing more.

Moving sidewalks would benefit the handicapped, currently injured and elderly with transportation in public areas.

By 2030 it’s estimated that all public places will have moving sidewalks or moving platform.

Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. is one of the producers

Teleportation

It is not yet known when the technology will be available to the public.

Teleportation would aid in long distance relationships, as well as government affairs.

There is no one person or company working on teleportation devices, but a whole lot of individual physicists working on different methods.

Technology

Technology is always going to be changing especially transportation. The future is changing to the present and these are just some new technologies that revolve around the subject of transportation.
