How i have made my contents page

I am going to be using InDesign for my contents page of my magazine. I started out with a blank document

I started to type out the contents of my contents page, after i finished doing that i edited the font and the colours of each subheading to show it was a different section.

I then when onto the internet and got 2 pictures related to my contented page and college in general. I imported these into my document to give it a nicer finish

For my background, i used Photoshop to create the image, i used the brush tool with various different brush sizes and colours, i put this into inDesign on a separate layer so i could place the background at the back so everything on the page was on top.

This is the final contents page, i feel like i have done this well and to a good standard with my current knowledge of InDesign.

I like the layout and the background of this, just puts the whole contents page together.
