The Development Strategy of Bytom 2009-2020ASSUMPTIONS (2008)• The Development Strategy of Bytom is a fundamental form of addressing challenges of the

present-day civilization and problems that local communities have to face. • From one hand as a vision of the development of the city of Bytom, this strategy is agreed

upon together with local partners, from other hand the development strategy is a blueprint for establishing the rudiments of programming of future investments on the local level.

• The document was approved by City Council in May 2009. • The core of strategy are the five priorities (which means the area where the intervention

must be undertake) within the vision of developmentDOCUMENT REVIEW – COCNLUSIONS (2011-2012)• City of Bytom must concentrate on two main priorities areas which are rebuilding the
