The selected idea (see next slide)

Our solution: A saving accounts associated to the discount card of low-price supermarkets (e.g. Minipreço, Portugal). The account holds 10 to 20% of the each purchase. After a fixed amount has been reached or after a fixed period, the savings can be used for purchase in the supermarket.

Improving the 1st prototype

It needs more incentives e.g. buy with discounts

It should include other people not only low income

It couldn’t compete with bank products

It should allow to buy in other shops

People might not trust a supermarket
