Things to Consider

1. What is your goal?2. What will get you there?3. How will you measure success?

• Here are some tools…

1. Web Site

• 56% of those surveyed said they would like live help before making a real estate purchase online

• Make it easy for them to contact you!

• Social Media will boost your SEO

2. Email Newsletters/Alerts• Collect email addresses &

permission• Send regularly or periodically• Send something of value• Track results

If I had limited funds and limited time. This is the one thing I would do for online promotion.

3. Blogging• Looks like a web site, acts like a web site, easy

to maintain, and it's cheap!• Think of it as an ongoing newsletter. Post info on

upcoming events, sales, testimonials…• Establishes you as an expert

"When you write, you make a sound in the reader's head. It can be a dull mumble … or it can be a joyful noise, a sly whisper, a throb of passion."

- Russell Baker, U.S. columnist and journalist

4. Microblogging/Twitter• Microblogging limited to 140 characters,

sent only to subscribers• A great way to advertise last minute

opportunities• Twittering goes to a web site or comes as

a text message

new employees• Build your expertise, talk about what you’re doing or

selling or buying..
