My Dog Chiko

My dog Chiko is fun to play with. Every time I come home from school he jumps up on me because he misses me when I’m gone.

Chiko is brown and has a white chest. He is a kind of little Chihuahua. We got him from our friend’s mom when he was a tiny puppy, and he just grew bigger and bigger. We’ve had him for about a year and a half.

Chiko is a very good dog. One day my sister’s brother Gabriel came with his baby. When he was playing with the baby, Chiko was watching from the couch.

He jumped up and started barking at Gabriel. He was protecting the baby because he thought Gabriel was beating her up.

Chiko is fun to play with and always follows me when I throw the ball. He goes and gets the ball.

After he gets the ball, he runs back to me and gives me the ball. Then he goes inside the house and sleeps.

When anyone in my family is outside,he is out there with us because he likes us and he likes to be outside.

Chiko is very smart. He goes out in the neighborhood to play with the other dogs. Sometimes they play fight.

When he’s all finished playing, he knows exactly how to get home.

When I go to bed, he comes up on the bed and lays down by my side. He sleeps with me all night.

When he wakes up, he wakes me up because he barks and wants to go outside.

Chiko always protects our family. One night when I was in bed, someone knocked on the door, and he barked. He woke me up because I thought something bad might be happening.

My mom’s friend was at the door, and we were all okay. Chiko was barking to protect us.

He is a really good watch dog.
