PYGMY GOATS And everything about them…

ORIGIN The Pygmy Goat originated in the

Cameroon Valley of West Africa. Today, they are commonly found as

house pets.

PYGMY GOATS ARE HELPFUL

PYGMY GOATS ARE HELPFUL BECAUSE…. Unlike horses, Pygmy goats are

browsers, not grazers. This means that instead of eating the grass all the way down to the root, they just eat the top, like a good lawn mower.

Pygmy goats are great sources of milk. Pygmy goats produce fresh and delicious milk.

Lastly, there are many health benefits to drinking goats milk, such as healthier skin and teeth. Goats’ milk is also healthier than cows’ milk.

GRAZING VS BROWSING

As you can see the horse eats down to the root of the grass, this is grazing.

The Pygmy goat only eats off the top of the grass, this is browsing.
