WHO IS RIHANNA?

Robyn Rihanna Fenty A.K.A Rihanna. Is a solo artist and an actress. Born in

Saint Michael. Barbados, and moved to the United States at the age of

16. She then signed a recording contract with Def Jam Recording’s.

Rihanna released her first album in 2005, which is called Music Of The Sun,

featuring the number 1 hit Pon De Replay. She has recorded 5 more

albums: A Girl Like Me, Good Girl Gone Bad, Rated R, Loud and Talk

That Talk. And is currently recording another album in the UK. Her

manager Jay-Z has recorded a song in 3 of her albums : Good Girl Gone

Bad, Rated R and Talk That Talk.

HOW DID RIHANNA BECOME FAMOUS?

In 2003, when Rihanna was 15 , one of her friends introduced her to a music

producer called Evan Rogers. Who was on holiday in Barbados at the

time, with his partner, Carl Sturken. Evan and Carl helped Rihanna

record a song in the U.S. The album was sent to various recording

companies. One copy was sent to Jay-Z, who signed rihanna to Def Jam

Recording’s.
