¿por qué es dificíl decidír entre el pretérito o imperfecto según los estudiantes?

Los estudiantes tienen problemas para narrar en el pasado, usando el

pretérito e imperfecto.

Pregunta de investigación: ¿Cuáles son esos problemas según los estdiantes?

Teorías:Bardovi-Harlig, K(1995)Considera que aunque se han realizado muchosEstudios que aseguran que de la distribución narrativaDepende el tiempo o el aspecto que se use. Montrul, S (2002) Encontró que los estudiantes en nivel intermedio(English speakers) aun tienen dificultades al usar el imperfecto. Algunos expertos(Slabakoba y Montrul) atribuyen esto a que en inglél no tienen el imperfecto gramaticalizado.

Metogología:1) Se le dio a cada estudiante un cuestionario, para

saber cuáles son algunos de estos problemas según ellos.

2) Después se analizaron los datos para ver cuáles eran estos problemas.

Participantes: La mayoría de los estudiantes tenía de 18 a 20 años.

-El 99% de los participantes ya había tomado una clase de español antes.

-Todos los participantes son hablantes de inglés como primer idioma.

Instrumentos: Se aplicó este cuestionario.

-Knowing when to use pret or imp Conjugating the words because I do not know if it is a steam changing. I am not sure if abrir is a irregular preterite verb

-I am extremely confused on when you use the proper verb tenses.

-I have to take time to try and decide what person was reviving the action because I could not tell It is hard to understand what the author means to use (pret or imp) unless time markers are used Ayer refers to yesterday, however I am not sure if it's a target word for preterit or imperfect. -I could not remember if tocar was irregular. The car form and the estar form of preterite Figuring out when to use which tense. -Remembering if preterite words were irregular, knowing if I should make the second word in a sentence in the sentence. -I had to think if it was happening during an action. --I do not know which is imperfect which is preterite, very confusing.

-Not knowing when to use preterite or imperfect.

Conclusiones:-Aunque en la encuesta dijeron que saben los diferentes usos, cuando tienen que conjugar los estudiantes tienen que tomar muchas decisiones:Sujeto, tiempo, aspecto, verbo regular-irregular, entre otras.

-Para los estudiantes es muy difícil tener que decidir entre el pretérito e imperfecto.
