FAMILY MEMBER

One occupation that I identify with is that of a family member as these are the

people in that have brought me up and help to find and become the person that I

am.

VENTURER

Being a Venturer was another occupation that I identified with as this helped me

adjust to the social aspect of being a teenager and finding new friends. Here I

also learnt new skills and had the opportunity to travel, tramp and camp.

ROVER

Being a Rover helps me to gain leadership skills, confidence skills and knowledge on organisation and it has allowed me to travel to places and participate in occupations that challenge my comfort

zone.

FRIEND

Being a friend has helped me a great deal in the way I have found and shaped my identity It has provided me with the experience of loyalty,

kindness, sharing, and ear to lend and a shoulder to lean on

YOUTH LEADER

Becoming a Deaf Youth leader has helped me a great deal in creating my identity around being Deaf.

FLATMATE

Being a flatmate is a new thing for me and it is helping me to find my identity around the person I can be as I am able to try new

things and experience life in a different way.

STUDENTBeing a student is helping me to form the identity of the person that I wish to become, studying towards the goal of becoming a

Occupational Therapist.

PET LOVERLucy, the family dog has helped me shape my identity by

providing me with a sense of responsibility, as well as friendship and someone to talk to.

Being a caregiver has helped me to find my identity as it has allowed me to experience

what it is like to have a fulltime/part time job this is readying me for when I graduate.

DEAF CHILD

Being part of the Deaf Children's as a Deaf child has allowed me to form my identity around

being deaf and being supported by others that are also Deaf
