You should be able to explain why connectives are needed and identify a number of them( could it be more challenging if they had to work out why certain connectives go in certain places? i.e y= to create lists, pero = to balance positive and negative views porque= reasoning/ justifying)

You could use connectives to link given sentences to then produce your own

This is because you cannot achieve a level 4 if you do not link sentences together and without them makes it

more difficult to communicate
