1. Introducing the topic 2. Cross-curricular processing of the topic in all subjects:
• CROATIAN LANGUAGE - making pictorial dictionary of traditional names of jewellery
• MATHEMATICS - measurement and units of measurement• MUSIC - festive folk costumes in Dalmatia (Adriatic zone), Split and Kastela dance • P.E. – Dalmatian folk dances• CLASS MEETINGS - antique and modern styles of clothing and adornment• SCIENCE - history of jewellery in the cultural heritage of Dalmatia and creation of
brochures• ART- drawing and three-dimensional design of the replicas of traditional jewellery
3. The results were presented at an interactive exhibition "The Embrace of tradition and friendship," the national teachers’ conference, various school events and in the media (The Croatian National Television, TV Jadran and the national newspapers Slobodna Dalmacija)

By designing jewellery, pupils developed a sensitivity for the aesthetic values.
Exploration of cultural heritage and various art works of traditional jewellery.
The workshop of making the replicas of traditional jewellery from Dalmatia.
“We have fully experienced the value of the original jewellery, only after we created its replicas.” the pupils
Pupils have noticed similar formal properties of their works and the works of master jewellers by using analysis.

The exhibition is the result of Comenius project CROSS-CURRICULAR TEACHING ON CULTURAL AND NATURAL HERITAGE TOPICS
The topic is:• Ancient Croatian jewellery in Dalmatia
The exhibition was divided into several interconnected but independent units.
The visitors have lost track of time while they were looking at the exhibition items with nostalgia.
An extremely large interest in the exhibition has been shown by
many of the guests and the media which have covered it.
There were two TV stations and a newspaper. Also, the teacher gave a lecture on the project at a national conference.
The project was concluded with pride and happiness because we have united tradition and cultural heritage in all teaching areas.
