Trogir is also called Little Venice because it is actually a small island , 500m long and about 250m wide.

First drugstore in Europe was founded in Trogir in 1271, close to the city main square.

Trogir was probably named after greek words tragos (goat) and oros (hill). This can be explained by the fact that Trogir was mostly goat-herding area.

Trogir archipelago includes a great number of islands and islets which simply take your breath away.
