GREETING
P The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the
communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
C And also with you.
CONFESSION AND FORGIVENESS
P Blessed be the holy Trinity, + one God, who calls us into an
everlasting hope, who guides us to springs of water of life,
who enlightens us with the spirit of wisdom.
C Amen.
P One with the communion of saints in all times and places,
let us confess our sin against God and one another.
~silence for reflection and self-examination~
P O God, our merciful redeemer,
C we confess the ways we live only for ourselves. We fail to see you
in our neighbor’s face. We turn our ears from voices that cry out.
We pass by the hungry and oppressed. In your great mercy,
forgive our sin and strengthen us for service to all in need;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
P In the mercy of almighty God, Jesus Christ was given to die
for you, and for + his sake, God forgives you all your sin.
Blessed are you! Rejoice and be glad, beloved people of God.
C Amen.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION “Alleluia”
C
C We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God, begotten, not made,
of one Being with the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven;
by the power of the Holy Spirit
he became incarnate from the virgin Mary, and was made man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified.
He has spoken through the prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come. Amen

OFFERING “God is So Good” - arr. John Coates, Jr.
God is so good, God is so Good.
God is so good, He's so good to me.
He cares for me, He cares for me.
He cares for me, He's so good to me.
I'll do His will, I'll do His will.
I'll do His will, He's so good to me.
I can hear my Savior calling:
(He loves me so)
“Take thy cross and follow Me.”
(He's so good to me)
He is so good, He is so good.
He is so good, He's so good to me.
SERMON - Pastor Jeff Ruby
SERVICE OF HOLY COMMUNION WORDS OF INSTITUTION THE LORD’S PRAYER
C Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those
who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
forever and ever. Amen.

COMMUNION MUSIC “For Everyone Born” - arr. Tom Trenney
For ev'ryone born, a place at the table,
For ev'ryone born, clean water and
bread, a shelter, a space, a safe place
for growing, for ev'ryone born, a star
over head. And God will delight when
we are creators of justice and joy.
Compassion and peace: Yes, God will
delight when we are creators of
justice...justice and joy!
For young and for old, a place at the
table, a voice to be heard, a part in the
song. The hands of a child in hands that
are wrinkled, for young and for old,
the right to belong. And God will delight
when we are creators of justice and joy.
Compassion and peace: Yes, God will
delight when we are creators of
justice...justice and joy!
Joy! Joy! Joy!
For ev'ryone born, a place at the table,
to live without fear, and simply to be,
to work, to speak out, to witness and
worship. For ev'ryone born, the right to
be free! And God will delight when
we are creators of justice and joy.
Compassion and peace: Yes, God will
delight when we are creators of
justice...justice and joy!

O Master, let me walk with Thee
in lowly paths of service free.
Tell me Thy secret, help me bear
the strain of toil, the fret of care.
Help me the slow of heart to move
by some clear, winning word of love.
Teach me the wayward feet to stay,
and guide them in the homeward way.
Teach me Thy patience, still with Thee
in closer, dearer company. In work that
keeps faith sweet and strong, in trust
that triumphs over wrong.
In hope that sends a shining ray far
down the future's broad'ning way.
In peace that only Thou canst give,
With Thee, O Master, let me live.
