neighbourhood stamps (two) *

To get your two neighbourhood stamps, you must complete at least four out of the seven following items. Show your answers to the front desk staff at the UBC Welcome Centre in the Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre to collect your stamps.

1. Take a photo of your trip at UBC and post it on Instagram with the hashtags #explorebc #visitvancouver #UBC

2. Name the two museums and two gardens at UBC that are participating in the Tourism Challenge.

3. At the Rose Garden viewing platform, find the plaque that describes the mountains in the distance. What is the height of the third mountain from the left?

4. Read the write-up on the glass enclosing the Millennial Time Machine. A camera obscura modifies an image. Which way does it modify it?

5. Visit the Loafe Café. What local, specialty coffee roaster supplies the beans for Loafe Café?

6. Rival faculties and student clubs frequently paint the UBC Engineering Cairn on Main Mall to protest or promote their own message. The engineering students then scramble to restore the paint job to its original state. What is painted on the cairn today?

7. Read the plaque in front of the Reconciliation Pole. What do the two boats at the top of the pole signify?
