Our Approach to Learning
5
We understand adult learning as well as how things work in the “real world”
• We’ve curated a small, focused course catalog. We believe we should be great at a few things rather than diluting our expertise just to create a massive course listing
• We’re big believers in adult learning approaches that work. Our courses follow a “here’s a concept, here’s an example, now do an exercise…” cadence. Participants get to apply our tools and frameworks numerous times in class so they get the hands-on application that makes learning stick
• For many of our courses, we conduct full case studies where participants get to apply the methods we teach to a complex business situation (cases/exercises). We also have the ability to have participants bring their real-world business problems to class and apply our methods to their problem. That approach brings the methods to life. We excel in those situations because we’re business people first and instructors second so we quickly grasp the business issue they’re solving
• We know participants are busy. That’s why we distill our courses to one-page cheat sheets that they can refer to after the program. We avoid big, complicated binders and instead opt for simplicity
• Learning isn’t a one-off “event.” We provide ongoing individual and team coaching, “refresher” webinars or conference calls, and other forms of continuous support
• Beyond coaching, other support tools are available including our books based on our courses as well as video course support through LinkedIn Learning video courses

• Many of our courses have been converted into online training via LinkedIn Learning and translated into Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Chinese, and Portuguese
