Thank you for considering the Ocean Shores Country Club as the venue to
celebrate your special day with your family and friends.
The Ocean Shores Country Club is situated on a hill top and boasts some
of the best Ocean & Hinterland views in the Byron Shire. The recently
renovated Club has a fabulous front deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean
towards Byron Bay and with large windows throughout the club showing
off the surrounding backdrop.
The Club is only a minute away from pristine beaches and has a range of
accommodation choices close by for you and your guests.
SeaSalt Restaurant, located within the Club, offers a variety of delicious
cuisine options which are personalised to meet your requirements for your
special day.
Our bar facilities offer a wide selection of drinks available at our low
prices.
We hope our Club will host the most memorable day of your lives and will
be able to cater for your every need.
The Pacific Room
The Pacific Room boasts magnificent panoramic ocean views stretching all the way to the Byron Bay Lighthouse through the long glass wall. The room offers a simplistic style making it versatile for any decorating. The air conditioned room has a large dance floor and direct access to the bar and the front deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean towards Byron Bay. It can cater for up to 120 guests for a sit down function or 180 for stand up cocktail. Access for decorations from 9am.

The Front Deck
Our magnificent front deck is the newest addition to the club which boasts one
of the best outlooks of the Pacific Ocean towards Byron Bay…a virtual 180
uninterrupted panoramic view that would be a stunning addition to your special
day. Can seat up to 60 people or stand up cocktail style up to 100 people. Access
for decorations on the front deck from 2pm only.
The Koonyum Deck
The Koonyum Deck is out the back of the club, overlooks our beautiful golf
course and the magnificent hinterland of The Koonyum Ranges. This backdrop
is the perfect setting and hosts some stunning sunsets.
The deck can accommodate up to 60-80 people for a sit down function or 80-
100 for stand up cocktail.
Your function will have its own section and can be decorated how you wish.
It can also be booked for pre reception welcome drinks after the ceremony or to
entertain the guests while the Bride & Groom are having their photos taken.
Photos on the Course Our magnificent Golf Course is available for photos with your bridal party. The
beautiful scenery of the fairways and mountain ranges make a stunning
background to your wedding pictures.
3 months notice must be given if you wish to do this in order for us to
coordinate around golfers.
Bus Service Our bus holds up to 11 people and is available for pickups from Ocean Shores
and Brunswick Heads, and also for trips home after the reception. Address
details of pickups must be advised by 4pm the previous day.

Confirmation of Booking Your booking will only be confirmed once a room hire has been paid in full (by
cash, credit card or EFTPOS) along with a booking form completed.
Beverages Our bar offers a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. We will
discuss with you to work out your selection of drinks and how much you would
like to spend on the bar. The drinks account is to be paid prior to the function
and any balance left over will be refunded.
Food Menu The caterers at SeaSalt Restaurant offer a variety of menu options and can tailor
it to suit your needs.
Tables & Chairs We have round tables available which seat 8-10 people or rectangular tables
which can seat 6 or more. Albatross Restaurant provide the table cloths,
napkins, cutlery and glassware.
Entertainment We have the facilities to accommodate entertainment including bands and djs.
We reserve the right to control the quality, style and volume of any
entertainment or activity conducted on the premises. Entertainment must cease
at 11pm unless arranged otherwise.
Decorations & Table settings You are welcome to decorate the room as you want, with access from 9am on
the day of the function (access to Front deck from 2pm), unless arranged
otherwise.
Cleaning General cleaning costs are included in the room hire cost but additional charges
may be payable if the function results in needs above and beyond normal
cleaning practises.
Final Numbers & Payment The minimum number of guests attending is required 14 days prior to the event
for catering and staffing requirements. Numbers can be increased but any
decreases will still be charged at the minimum number advised. Final numbers
to be advised 7 days prior to the event and at this time the final payment for
catering is required.
Parking Adequate parking is available for all guests.
Conduct of guests The organiser is responsible for the orderly manner and conduct of the function.
We reserve the right to intervene if a functions activities are offensive or
excessively noisy.
Cancellation of Booking Cancellation 3 months prior to the event will incur no penalty and a refund of
all monies paid will be given.
Cancellation less than 3 months prior to the event will receive 50% refund.
Cancellation less than 1 month prior to the event will not receive a refund.
Responsible Service of Alcohol The Ocean Shores Country Club Reserves the right to refuse the service of
alcohol to any guests it considers to be under age, intoxicated or behaving in an
offensive manner.
Loss or Damages Loss or damage to the property, carpet, fixtures or fittings caused by the client,
guests, before, during or after the function will be the responsibility of the
organiser. The Club will take care to protect the property of its guests, but
accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage of customer or guests’ property.
Club Policy It is the Clubs policy that No Food or Beverages be brought onto Club Premises,
with the exception of a Wedding, Birthday or Special Occasion Cakes.
Prices are subject to change without notice. Due to Health Authority Regulations,
No left over food is to be taken off the premises.
