FOLKLORE AND TRADITIONS

• Folklore dresses, traditions, dances and songs vary nearly from village to village...

• Folklore dances can still be seen on numerous festivals and traditional way of life in the past in the slovak village can be experienced in open-air museums

Slovakia used to be country of shepards, wood choppers and hard working crafted people with colourful traditions and simple dishes...

The typical dish for Slovakia is bryndzove halusky, a serving of potato dough dumplings with melted sheep cheese and fried bacon sprinkled on the top.
