42 accidents on the Mid Cape Highway in Bourne/Sandwich from 2005 to 2012 related to tree hits. Of those 42 accidents 48 people were injured and there were two (2) fatal injuries. (MassDOT-Boston Traffic Section’s crash database and law enforcement reporting)
