• Verb+able dalam bentuk negative un+verb+able memiliki makna “can be atau can’t be [bisa di atau tidak bisa di…]; erase=menghapus, erasable = bisa dihapus, unerasable =[tidak bisa dihapus]
• Noun+ful atau Noun+less memiliki makna bertentangan; colorful = [penuh warna], colorless = [tampa warna], hopeful [penuh harapan], hopeless [putus harapan]
