ePerSpace global innovation idea
• Integrate technologies to show users a clear path to networking their digital home
• Key requirements: provide services at home and elsewhereEasy to handle and at low cost With sufficient data rates and end-to-end QoS for
streaming applications (A/V) Personalised (depending of user preference, context,
…)Seamless loginIntegration of personal devices (e.g.: mobile phone)

IST project ePerSpace N°506775 15
Methodology
• Start from use cases and scenarios• Design a reference architecture• Split the architecture specification and
development between several WPs with the relevant expertise
• Show a possible implementation via trials with a specific entity responsible of integrating the WPs work in test-beds
• Evaluate user acceptance, identify business models and reassess the original architecture
