These Sec 2 students were given each a portion of a photocopied image. With the given image, they had to construct an imaginary world of extraordinary bugs, by manipulating texture, shapes and forms. They had to make some first hand observation drawings of bugs and create their own extraordinary versions. They had to choose one of the following themes: camouflage, violence, habitat, romance . This activity helps students to develop pencil shading skills and understand values.
